  Hi everyone, my name is Mariano. I've been wandering around for about 15 years, and I can say that for some time I'd been thinking I needed a place where I could recover from what I felt I'd lost: my sense of belonging (in my own way, and in short, everything one thinks of building and sustaining when growing up in their homeland; and then never thinks of leaving... then life tests you and everything changes, you have to start over. I'm not complaining; they're challenges that give you and take away...). Anyway, I wanted to put down roots. To feel like I belonged somewhere, or at least try. After wandering around Europe, I felt that Italy was an attractive place for several reasons. After doing some volunteering, trails, and the Camino de Santiago, I decided to buy a modest house in the old part of a humble mountain village (it would be nice to repopulate the villages, there are other houses for sale very cheaply) and start a new journey, to build a base... and this base is slowly taking shape with the help of everyone, neighbors, friends, and here I introduce Ivan, a guy who has been here with me since the beginning (about 2 years ago). We met while volunteering and from there we became friends (Ivan now works so he can no longer help me). Beyond this, we like to meet and create bonds with people and this is the main reason for opening the account. Living experiences together, such as our aperitifs that usually turn into long evenings... lighting the fire, going into the woods or to neighbors who are waiting for us with pizzas, farinata, limoncello... and then as a last integral part I have to tell you about my other friend "Ollie", a beautiful dog who can take you on walks in the woods to see animals in the wild, find paths, old people, bridges, mule tracks, hear the birds sing, take a dip in the streams with waterfalls and many other things to discover... and finally I would say that I feel very good here and that it could be a place for ever, even if I also think that it still needs time to say something like that, in any case I would like to share it with you... lastly, excuse my Italian and I hope I haven't bored you... best regards
  
  Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Mariano, Ho girovagato per circa 15 anni, e poi poso dire che da tempo pensavo che avevo bisogno di un posto dove poter riprendermi di quello che sentivo che avevo perso, il mio senso di appartenenza (a modo mio e per farla corta tutto quello che uno pensa di costruire e sostenere quando cresce nella sua terra; e che poi mai pensa dì andarsene via.. poi la vita ti mette a prova è tutto cambia, devi iniziare da capo, non mi lamento, sono sfide che ti danno e ti tolgono..) cmq volevo fare radici. Sentirmi da qualche parte o almeno provarci. Dopo di girovagare per la Europa ho sentito che la Italia mi risultava un posto attraente da diversi punti di vista. Dopo di fare alcuni volunteers, sentieri, camini di Santiago, ho deciso di prendere una modesta casa nella parte antica di un umile borgo nella montagna (sarebbe bello ripopolare i paesini, ci sono altre case in vendita molto economiche) e iniziare un nuovo percorso, a costruire una base.. e questa base piano piano prende forma con il aiuto tutti, vicini, amici, e qui presento Ivan un ragazzo che dal inizio (circa 2 anni fa ) e qua con me, ci siamo conosciuti facendo un volontariato e da li siamo diventati amici, (Ivan adesso lavora quindi non mi può più aiutare) al di là di questo a noi ci piace conoscere e creare legami con delle persone ed è questo il motivo principale della apertura del account. Vivere esperienze insieme come a d’esempio i nostri aperitivi che di solito diventano lunghe serate.. accendere il fuoco, andare nel bosco o dei vicini che ci aspettano con le pizze, farinate, limoncelli.. e poi come ultimo integrante vi devo raccontare del mio altro amico “Ollie” un bellissimo cane che vi può portare a farve delle passeggiate per il bosco a vedere animali in libertà, trovare sentieri, vecchi, ponti, mulattiere, sentire gli uccellini cantare farci dei tuffi nei torrenti con delle cascate e tante altre cose da scoprire … e per finire direi che qui mi sento molto bene e che potrebbe essere un luogo per sempre anche se penso pure che serve ancora del tempo per affermare una cosa del genere, comunque vorrei condividerlo con voi… come ultimo scusate il mio italiano ed spero di non avervi annoiato.. un saluto

  Hébergement

  We have two rooms, one small and one large, they have been recently renovated, cleanliness and order in us is something fundamental and important. It is worth remembering and also that people who want to come should know that there are common areas in the house that are in the process of changing, so it is impossible to keep them in order and clean.
  
  We offer 2 meals a day as an exchange: lunch and dinner. Not all of us are always available to cook, so if you have culinary skills, even better 👩🏻‍🍳 👨‍🍳 😊
  Ci sono due camere, una piccola e una grande, sono stati recentemente restaurati, la pulizia e l'ordine in noi è qualcosa di fondamentale ed importante. Vale la pena ricordare e anche che le persone che desiderano venire devono sapere che ci sono luoghi in comune nella casa che sono in fase di cambiamento, quindi è impossibile tenerli in ordine e puliti.
  
  Proponiamo come scambio 2 pasti al giorno: pranzo e cena. Non sempre tutti noi siamo disponibili a cucinare, quindi se hai delle capacità culinarie, ancora meglio 👩🏻‍🍳 👨‍🍳 😊

  in my free time there is so much to do.. for example.. hiking and sleeping in isolated shelters, crying, asking for help, proposing programs, organizing days, visiting sites of cultural interest in Genoa (1 hour by car) visiting the magnificent Cinque Terre (1 hour by car) other places on the Riviera such as Camogli (beautiful) Portofino, Chiavari, long walks on the beach.. bathing in the river with waterfalls (look at the photos) bathing in the sea…
  
  
  nel tempo libero c'è così tanto da fare.. per esempio.. escursioni e dormire in rifugi isolati, piangere, chiedere aiuto, proporre programmi, organizzare giornate, visitare siti di interesse culturale a Genova (1 ora di macchina) visitare le magnifiche cinque terre (1 ora di macchina) altri luoghi della Riviera come camogli (bellissimo) portofino, chiavari, lunghe passeggiate sulla spiaggia.. farsi il bagno nei fiume con le cascate (guardate le foto) farsi il bagno nel mare…
