Hello and welcome to our small self-sufficient farm.
We currently have 7 goats, a flock of chickens, two dogs, and two cats.
We have sold our farm here and are in the process of moving to another farm, about 10 hours away near Lillehammer.
There's a lot on our to-do list right now.
We would like some help with the move.
The daily care and maintenance of the animals.
Support with other possible tasks.
At the moment, it's difficult for us to maintain self-sufficiency like before because the next farm is practically empty, having been empty for many years. However, it's still important to us to communicate what we do and to share as much of our work and daily routine with our helpers as possible.
You have a positive attitude.
You are skilled with your hands/practical, and physically and mentally stable.
You are not afraid or shy around animals.
You are eager to get involved – with all tasks in all weather conditions. It rains a lot here 😅

About us and our philosophy of life:
We emigrated from Germany to Norway in 2009 and realized along the way that we no longer feel comfortable in our consumer-oriented, throwaway society.
We feel a strong connection to a natural way of life and prefer a simple, no-frills lifestyle.
We try to make as much as possible ourselves – be it food or personal care and cleaning products.
With us, you can learn, for example, which medicinal herbs can be used, what they look like and where to find them, and what you can make with them. We practice according to ecological and permaculture principles.
In our free time, we enjoy playing cards or board games, reading, or treating ourselves to a break in the sun with a cup of coffee and tea or going on a nature walk, for example, to pick mushrooms and berries. By the way, observing animals is also very relaxing 😉
If you decide to help us, we'd be delighted, but we also expect your full support, as well as respect and acceptance for our lifestyle.

Hallo und Willkommen
Wir haben 7 Ziegen, eine Schar Hühner sowie zwei Hunde und zwei Katzen.
Wir haben unseren Hof hier verkauft und sind dabei auf einen anderen Hof umzuziehen.
Der liegt rund 10 Stunden vom verkauften Platz circa 40km nördlich von Lillehammer.
Der Hof ist sehr alt und seit einigen Jahren unbewohnt und hat viele schöne alte Gebäude aus Holz. Sehr einfacher Standard. Dort müssen wir vieles reparieren und renovieren.
Wir wünschen uns besonders ab Ostern bis Mitte Juni Unterstützung beim Umzug. Das beinhaltet natürlich auch Fahrten mit Anhänger zum neuen Hof.
Dazu kommt das tägliche Versorgen und Betreuen der Tiere.
Unterstützung in anderen möglichen Aufgaben.
Momentan ist es schwierig für uns eine Selbstversorgung wie vorher durchzuführen weil am nächsten Hof sozusagen nichts ist weil er viele Jahre leer stand. Aber trotzdem ist es uns wichtig zu vermitteln was wir tun und unseren Helfern möglichst viel von unserem Tun und Alltag mitzugeben.
Du hast eine positive Einstellung.
Bist handwerklich geschickt/praktisch veranlagt sowie physisch und psychisch stabil.
Hast Keine Angst/Scheu im Umgang mit Tieren.
Lust anzupacken -bei allen Aufgaben in allen Wetterlagen. Hier regnet es oft und viel 😅
Du hast eine offene Kommunikation und kein Problem zusammen mit uns als Familie zu leben.

Über uns und unsere Lebensphilosophie:
Wir sind 2009 aus Deutschland nach Norwegen ausgewandert und haben auf unserem Weg gemerkt das wir uns nicht mehr wohlfühlen in der Kauf und Wegwerfgesellschaft.
Wir fühlen uns einer naturnahen Lebensweise sehr verbunden, bevorzugen einen einfachen Lebensstil ohne Schnickschnack.
Wir versuchen so viel wie möglich selbst herzustellen - sei es Lebensmittel oder auch Pflege & Reinigungsprodukte.
Bei uns kann man zum Beispiel lernen welche Heilkräuter man benutzen kann, wie sie aussehen und wo man sie findet. Was man daraus herstellen kann. Wir praktizieren nach ökologischen und permakulturellen Prinzipien.
In unserer Freizeit spielen wir gerne Karten oder auch Brettspiele, lesen gerne oder gönnen uns eine Auszeit in der Sonne mit einer Tasse Kaffee und Tee oder eine Tour in die Natur zum z.B. Pilze sammeln und Beeren ernten. Tiere beobachten ist übrigens auch sehr entschleunigend😉
Wenn du dich dafür entscheidest uns zu helfen, freuen wir uns sehr darauf, erwarten allerdings auch deine volle Unterstützung sowie Respekt und Akzeptanz für unseren Lebensstil.

At our new location, we have a mountain pasture in a completely secluded location without electricity or running water, with the opportunity to live very simply for a few days – just like in the old days. The farm is located in the middle of the forest.
Learn what it means to be self-sufficient and live sustainably. What it means to sow, harvest, and process our own food. Make ointments and healing oils. Learn about aromatherapy. Live responsibly.
Erleben der norwegischen Natur-Wir haben eine fantastische Natur um uns herum die zu ausgiebigen Wanderungen einladen. Fjorde - Seen - Berge. Baden und fischen im Fjord.
Am neuen Ort haben wir auch noch eine Alm in absoluter Alleinlage ohne Strom und fließend Wasser mit der Möglichkeit ein paar Tage sehr sehr einfach zu leben - so wie früher. Der eigentliche Hof liegt mitten im Wald. Auch ziemlich allein.
Lernen was es bedeutet sich selbst zu versorgen und nachhaltig zu leben. Was es bedeutet sein eigenes Essen zu säen, ernten und verarbeiten. Salben und Heilöle herzustellen. Über Aromatherapie zu lernen. Selbstverantwortlich zu leben.

Bedroom on the ground floor with washbasin (2 beds)
You share our bathroom and kitchen with us.
You live as part of our family in our house.
New farm: You live in the oldest wooden house on the farm - currently no electricity or running water installed. You can of course use our bathroom/toilet and the kitchen in the main house. You are partly responsible for your own meals, but we do of course provide the food.
We heat only in the cold months and have a fireplace in the living room and heat mainly with wood

Unser Bad (keine Dusche nur Badewanne) und unsere Küche teilst Du mit uns.
Du lebst mit uns als Teil unserer Familie in unserem Haus.
Neuer Hof: Du wohnst im ältesten Holzhaus auf dem Hof - momentan weder Strom noch Wasser installiert.
Du kannst selbstverständlich unser Bad/WC und die Küche im Wohnhaus benutzen. Teilweise bist du selber verantwortlich für Deine Mahlzeiten wir stellen aber natürlich die Lebensmittel zur Verfügung.

We live in the countryside, there are beautiful forests, fjords and lakes in the area and areas that you can explore on foot or a trip to the nearest big city. The village center is 4 and 11 km away. Reachable by bus or on foot. Nearest town 65 km away by bus. Most public transport here has to be paid for online by credit card. From time to time you can also pay in cash, but that is becoming less and less. Lillehammer is the nearest larger town to the new farm. There are many opportunities for hiking there.
Wir leben auf dem Land, in der Umgebung gibt es schöne Wälder, Fjorde und Seen und Gebiete, die du zu Fuß erkunden kannst oder einen Trip in die nächst grössere Stadt.
Das Dorfzentrum ist 4 und 11 km entfernt. Zu erreichen mit Bus oder zu Fuss. Nächste Stadt 65 km mit Bus zu erreichen. Am neuen Hof ist Lillehammer die nächste größere Stadt. Dort sind viele Möglichkeiten zu wandern.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel müssen hier grösstenteils online mit Kreditkarte bezahlt werden. Ab und zu kann man auch noch bar zahlen aber das wird immer weniger
