  Hi, my name is Allan. I’m a local tour guide and wildlife spotter from Drake Bay, Costa Rica. Together with my close family, we welcome travelers to share our simple life in the Tropical Rainforest. You’ll have a private room at my place with internet, kitchen, and breakfast on most days.
  
  Daily life here is about connection: walking around the village, visiting the beach and rivers, cooking together, and sharing stories about culture and nature. Language exchange happens naturally in everything we do. I’d love to improve my German (intermediate–advanced) and my French (beginner), while helping you learn Spanish. I also speak English at a high level, so communication is easy.
  
  If you enjoy spending time with children, you can also help my sister’s kids practice new languages. They already understand some English, and we’d love for them to hear more German and French too. For this role we usually prefer women, as that’s who the kids feel most comfortable with, but it’s not a strict rule.
  
  With us, you won’t just find a place to stay. You’ll find a family to share meals with, beaches to explore, languages to practice, and a slower rhythm of life to enjoy.

  Hola, mi nombre es Allan. Soy guía local y experto en observación de fauna silvestre en Bahía Drake, Costa Rica. Junto con mi familia cercana recibimos viajeros para compartir nuestra vida sencilla en bosque tropical lluvioso. Tendrás una habitación privada en mi casa, con internet, cocina y desayuno la mayoría de los días.
  
  La vida aquí se trata de conexión: caminar por el pueblo, visitar la playa y los ríos, cocinar juntos y compartir historias sobre cultura y naturaleza. El intercambio de idiomas surge de manera natural en todo lo que hacemos. Me encantaría mejorar mi alemán (nivel intermedio–avanzado) y mi francés (principiante), mientras te ayudo a aprender español. También hablo inglés a un nivel alto, así que la comunicación es sencilla.
  
  Si disfrutás pasar tiempo con niños, también podés ayudar a los hijos de mi hermana a practicar otros idiomas. Ellos ya entienden algo de inglés y nos encantaría que escuchen más alemán y francés. Para este rol solemos preferir mujeres, porque es con quienes los niños se sienten más cómodos, aunque no es una regla estricta.
  
  Con nosotros no solo vas a encontrar un lugar donde hospedarte. Vas a encontrar una familia con quien compartir comidas, playas por explorar, idiomas que practicar y un ritmo de vida más tranquilo para disfrutar.
