  Description

  Hi! I am Nicole, 33 living here in beautiful Hoi An, Vietnam with my son who is 4 years old. We are from Australia but have been traveling most of his life, living the last two years in Da Nang and now settled in Hoi an. We have been all over Asia as well as campervan life in Australia.
  
  We are a vegetarian house hold just doing the best we can ❤️
  I am living a mostly clean lifestyle and substance free. I don’t mind if you drink, just not excessively and not inside our home 🙏 also eating meat is fine- I just prefer no cooking meat at home…
  
  We love to be outdoors and Hoi An has a lot to offer. We are one street back from the beach where my son loves to swim and play + collect shells. Our neighbourhood is away from the hustle and bustle but has everything for the basics as well as some cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The old town is a short 10 min scooter ride away and local market 6 minutes. There is much more to see and do around town.
  
  Our house is a new light filled 2 bedroom place and has a courtyard + upstairs balcony. It is a semi local house I would say, furnished nicely. You will have your own room and we share the bathrooms/laundry space.
  
  My son goes to playgroup twice a week, but I need more help while I grow some projects and bring them to life. I need help around the house like vacuuming, washing dishes. I need you to help keep my son happy, busy and safe while I work.
  
  I can help you with renting a scooter if you’re confident in driving. Grab is also an easy and efficient way to get around.

  We speak only English and a tiny bit of Indonesian in our household. It would be so fun to learn a new language or if you speak Indonesian to have you help us brush up on ours..
  
  As we are living in Vietnam there are many beautiful temples and awesome local food spots to try. The old town is a magical must see at night. I can show you and teach you what I have learnt so far and we can also explore these things together!
  We like to hike and explore nature, we can take you for an adventure or visit a waterfall together.

  Aide

  We live a simple but love filled, grafeful life and right now I am quite busy bringing some projects to light. As a single mother I am mostly lacking in time (and energy) !
  I need someone who is conscious, kind, and who loves children who would be willing to help with my son and a little around the house. My son can be quite energetic and busy, so you need to be creative in activities and ideas to keep up.
  I need someone who is efficient and with common sense and takes initiative.
  You will still have plenty of time and I can work around your schedule.
  
  General help with dishes and picking up after my son would be great! Ideally just like a housemate/friend who is mindful enough to see when I may need a hand.
  
  Set hours and days of babysitting will be discussed though it will be no more than around 20hrs a week.
  
  If you work online we can work around this- my schedule is quite flexible although some mornings I would love to go to yoga or dance class and would need you to be with my boy Nuri.
  
  I need someone who is responsible preferably with experience caring for babies and children. Someone who is able bodied as he is very active and loves to run and play. His safety and happiness is the most important thing for me, and I hope will be tended to 🙏
  
  Nuri is very social and fun. He loves to read and swim and is learning more and more every day. He kind of talks a lot 🤪
  
  You will have plenty of time to sight see or work and have free time. We can also do things together if you like, I can show you many places here or recommend things to do!

  I would love my son to be exposed to all kinds of culture and languages. We would gladly welcome you to share with us anything that is significant or special for you as long as it still aligns with our core values. I can share English language with you as well as mindful practices.

  Hébergement

  As mentioned we live in a two bedroom house by the beach. It is a new building and you will have your own bedroom with king sized bed, air conditioning and wardrobe. There is a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. . The courtyard is shared with myself and my son as well as our neighbour in the front who is very chill.
  
  I should mention we have an adult local dog who is an angel. She sleeps most of the time but will come with you to the beach any time you go.
  
  Our kitchen and living space is quite basic- Induction cooker, kettle, fridge.
  
  The home will always have coffee/ tea and oat milks on hand. Some fresh fruits and oats/bread for breakfast..
  Lunch and dinner will be seperate most days unless we arrange to eat together which if you like to cook I will be very happy to buy the ingredients for you to cook for all of us!!!! That would be wonderful :) ordering in is pretty convenient here so that’s often a choice we take! You can get fresh healthy and yummy food delivered any time!

  As mentioned scooter can be arranged for you although grab (like Uber) is very readily available and cost effective. So much to see and do around DaNang and Hoi An- big lady Buddha, marble mountains, hue, beach, mountains, river, city 😍
  
  We have a dog who has minimal needs. She is a calm and friendly + relaxed girl.

  The internet is strong and fast. I can provide a Desk and chair in your room if you wish. There are plenty of co working spaces/cafes to work from too; many with rice field views!

  Kichi

  We have a new-ish pet who found us on a bike ride one morning and needed a place to rest… it is quite common to see dogs on the street here and they usually have homes… but this adult doggy must have lost her way, or something has happened and we could not find her family.
  
  We named her Kichi which means “lucky charm” or something along those lines in Japanese and thought it fit her well.
  
  Kichi is an adult medium size Local dog, maybe with a touch of German shepherd in her. She sleeps all day long if we are home .. and if we walk around there neighbourhood or to the beach she always accompanies us and escorts us around 😎 she needs to lead and will do her own thing and always come back.
  
  Kichi is an extremely gentle and loyal dog.
  She is mostly tolerant of my son while he tickles and touches her constantly 😅
  
  She does not come on the furniture or upstairs bedroom + she is toilet trained :)
