Hello!
Thank you for reading this and we hope you will join us! We are beginning a new season of farmstay experience, and building out campsites, a new season's garden, some shade structures and other fun projects.
We're working on an outdoor glamping / ecovillage experience by giving new life and creativity to the land. We have been here for almost 10 years now, and each season's projects are different. You will have a private cabin or a room inside the farmhouse depending on the weather.
A 2 week stay works best, April 1 - 30th. Please reach out with any questions! We like to host a few people at a time for the most fun and nurturing experience.
Skills & interests can range from outdoor building, permaculture, landscaping, decorating, art & photography, cooking, solar energy and composting. Manual labor will definitely be involved! We work hard during the days if the weather is right, and help cook and enjoy meals together. There is a yoga studio open to use as well if you have a personal practice.
Located in upstate NY, the town is a 2.5 hour drive from NYC. There's an amtrak train line for transportation into the city as well, and bikes on the property. Lots of rolling hills and nearby farms, swimming holes, and good vibes.

Upstate NY is beautiful and a great place to explore. We're all learning together about building with the materials we have, and working off the land. Join in the experience of creating a place for everyone to do their best work.

Aide
Exchange is room and 3 meals a day for a full help day, weekends off. Flexible on schedule to make it work for everyone. We have some semi-experienced builders and farmers to work with. Let me know what your specialties are, and we'll find a good fit.
Tasks range, but mainly light building and eco building techniques will be used. Outside, working in nature, and caring for the land. OR a child care position or a mix of all. There will be a nice community to participate in.
Experienced builders are encouraged but not required! Gardners, cooks, landscapers, and general handy people are all helpful! Thank you :)))
