  Description

  We are a small family spending the month of June in beautiful Menorca and we are looking for someone kind and responsible to help with our 9-month-old baby boy.
  Our family is Bea (30) and Pol (36). We are easygoing and enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, our baby is funny and very curious!
  We are looking for help with the baby during the week. The care will be shared with the grandmother, so you will usually be playing with the baby, going for a swim in our boat together with granny, or helping with simple daily routines. We will be working from home so you won't be really alone with the baby.
  We also have a friendly dog, so it’s important that you like animals.
  In exchange we offer a private bedroom, bathroom, and meals with us. You can also use our car to explore the beautiful beaches, nature, and enjoy island life.
  We are located in the norther part of the island, in Fornells. We speak Spanish, Catalan or Italian but we don't mind speak in English.
  We hope to host someone warm, responsible, and who enjoys spending time with babies!

  We enjoy a relaxed and social lifestyle and are happy to include our Workawayer in family activities such as shared meals, walks, and visits to some of our favorite beaches around Menorca. In the summer the island has a great atmosphere with local markets, village festivals, and outdoor dinners that you’ll be able to experience.

  Aide

  We are looking for help mainly in the mornings (around 5 hours per day) with our 9-month-old baby.
  
  Typical activities include: playing with the baby and keeping him engaged, going for short walks with the stroller, helping with simple daily routines (feeding, nap time, etc.), keep the baby’s area tidy and occasionally prepare his meals, occasionally going with his grandparents on their boat and swim with him, helping Granma with anything related to the baby.
  
  A typical day could be:
  8:30 - start
  9:30 - nap time
  11:00 - playtime/walk
  12:30 - feed him
  13:30 - nap time
  
  We enjoy spending time together and are happy to share meals, local tips, and show you some of our favorite places in Menorca. If you’re interested, we can also share Spanish/Catalan or Italian culture and language while learning about yours.
  
  The rest of the day and weekends are free so you can explore the island or spend time with us.

  Hébergement

  We offer a private bedroom with bed, wardrobe etc and private bathroom. You will be able to eat every meal with us or we can buy the food you like and cook for yourself as you prefers. We eat pretty much everything!

  During your free time you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful village of Fornells, a charming fishing town in the north of Menorca known for its peaceful atmosphere, crystal-clear waters, and stunning natural surroundings. The bay of Fornells is perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and enjoying sunsets by the sea. The village also has lovely cafés, restaurants, and small local shops, and in summer there are often markets and local festivities.
  From Fornells you can easily explore other parts of Menorca. There are regular buses connecting the village with Maó and Ciutadella, the island’s two main towns.
  At home we live in a relaxed and respectful way. Our only important rule is that during weekdays we prefer a quiet routine, so we ask our Workawayer not to stay out very late on those nights, as we wake up early with the baby. Other than that, we simply value good communication, kindness, and keeping shared spaces tidy.
