  Hi Workawayers!
  We are a family of four (two adults and two children aged 10 and 7) looking for intercultural exchange and help with the kids. We live in a lovely small town called Salinas by the seaside in Asturias, Spain, where surfing, skating, trekking and nature activities are key factors. We will be glad and looking forward to hosting a responsible and caring youngster (20-28 years old) who can speak and play with the children in English and help us around the house . We would like that you could stay with us for at least a month and a half.
  Here you will find an open-minded and welcoming family who can also help you with your Spanish skills (we are translators and Spanish teachers).

  You can learn or improve Spanish language and we will be glad to help you from our experience working with languages. We will also provide you with books so you can improve your Spanish skills. We will be glad to help you with any doubt you may have.
  We will also be happy to show your our gastronomy and traditions.

  Aide

  We are looking for a workawayer who can play and speak in English with the kids, help us get them ready in the mornings and also help us with everyday house chores.
  We would also appreciate it if you could babysit the kids (cook dinner and see a film together) a couple of nights a week.
  You will have the rest of the time off to go to the beach, go for a walk or explore and discover the beautiful surroundings you will find here.
  
  Summer Stays: We are looking for a person to stay with us from approximately 12–13 July until the end of August.
  
  The main role will be spending time with our children (10 and 8 years old) in the mornings, helping them practice and improve their English through games, activities, and going to the beach or doing other outdoor plans.
  
  In the evenings, on some occasions (around 2 times per week), you will also stay with the children while we go out for dinner or social events. This includes giving them dinner, watching a movie with them, and putting them to bed. You will stay at home while they sleep (you are not expected to be awake all night, only to be at home).
  
  During the day, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy the beach, surf, explore the area, and meet other people. Salinas is a very lively town in summer, with festivals, a large beach, and many other Workawayers and au pairs.
  
  We are looking for someone who is happy to speak English with the children at all times and help them improve their confidence in the language.
  
  We also ask for light household collaboration as part of daily family life, such as keeping your room and bathroom clean, and helping with routine tasks like loading/unloading the dishwasher, tidying shared spaces, hanging laundry, and keeping the kitchen clean after use.
  
  We are flexible with schedules and want you to have time for yourself and enjoy the summer.
  
  Most days we do not have lunch at home, as we spend the day at the beach. You will always have food available at home or can take it with you. We usually have dinner together, although you are also free to eat on your own if you prefer.

  We would like that you play and speak with our children in English. We both are fluent but we are not native in the language. In exchange, we can help you improve your Spanish skills. No matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or fluent in Spanish.

  We live in a 3 bedroom flat 5 minutes walking from the beach. You will have your own bedroom with a desk.

  Salinas is located by the seaside in Asturias, in the north of Spain. Avilés, the nearest city (about 100,000 inhabitants) is just 3 kms away and Oviedo and Gijón, the biggest cities in Asturias are less than 30 kms away with buses running from Avilés each 30 minutes.
  The airport, with regular flights to Spanish cities and islands, is just 15 minutes from home.
