We were happy with Freya in our team for the 4 week she stayed with us. She quickly found her place, and work wise she was ready to do all sorts of tasks like cleaning.

I enjoyed my time with the team and I'm sure you can have a very good and unforgettable time there. I was only there for 2 weeks in september 19 (1 week camp and 1 week build down) and I left earlier as I initially planned, so my feedback might not be that meaningful. But still I've done many workaways and know what to expect of a host and what my
… read more duties in exchange are.
The food was delicious, the place very nicely made with love and passion. Everyone of the team could attend Yoga- and surf classes for free. But there are some things I'd like to point out for future helpers:
The camp is quite big and they have up to 120 guests and when I was there around 20 volounteers.
Work hours were more like 4-6 h a day 7 days a week (not as described in the profile, but in my case mentioned in a phone call before going there) There was a weekly schedule with shifts, which you could easily change with other teamers. The vast majority of the hosts (core team) and the volunteers were German.
There is internet-access, but you'd have to buy your "time" at the reception of the campground. There are washing machines, but volunteers had to use the ones from the campground for 5 Euro.
Generally I didn't have the feeling that my work was much appreciated and the work mood was very strict and communication sometimes quite gruff and grumpy, which is a no-go for me as I am volunteering and not a paid worker. But as they get flooded by requests from volounteers, that's probably just the way they can deal with volounteers. A more respectful interaction and a "thank you" at some point would help.
Still, it was a good experience for me and thank you VSC for the time I could spend at your place.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
