Update: now that we have returned to level 1 lockdown we are able to take workawayers again.

Update: we would like to let everyone know that due to the Corona virus that is currently spreading the world we are unable to take any workawayers as we have a 2 year old daughter that we must protect. We will update once we feel it is safe.

We are a family of 4, mum, dad and our two daughters that live here at home however we have 7 other adult children that live in different areas of New Zealand. We are of Maori descent and our traditions and culture are an important part of how we live and who we are. We are a very friendly and loving family and are keen to share our culture and life style with other cultures from different countries. We are also very spiritual people and use a lot of holistical Maori practices to guide us in our every day lives. We observe the different phases of the moon when gardening and fishing and are influenced by the alignment of the stars. We are keen to learn different cultural traditions and practices that the traveller may bring with them. We live on a large 3 acre property and are requiring some one that loves working on the land as we do to assist us in maintaining and clearing the property. We live in a small community on the Westcoast of the South Island near a beach and surrounded by native forest. There is fishing, surfing and swimming spots near by as well as historical gold mining sites and other historical tourist attractions that the traveller's are able to visit during their time off. There are many tourist attractions and experiences that can be booked through the i-site in Westport which is approximately 13 minutes drive from where we live.
