Description
I live on a 3 acre smallholding in the middle of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. I have 6 chickens , 1 rooster and 2 dogs. There is no mobile phone coverage here but I do have excellent internet (Starlink) which allows for WiFi calling on some networks but not SMS text messaging. Although it is very remote here, it does have its bonuses, e.g., dark skies so stargazing is amazing! Lots of wildlife to see as well.

I think my home should be treated more like a retreat from the rat race.

I'm looking for someone to housesit and look after my dogs and chickens on two separate occasions - 22 to 29 September and 5 to 10 October although I am quite happy for one house sitter to stay for the entire period 22 September through to 10 October but I will be at home 29 September to 5 October so will be able to take you sightseeing.

Hermione is a wonderful lady full of incredible stories and lots of knowledge to share. Not to mention she is a fantastic cook!
