  Olá!
  
  We are a portuguese/german couple in our early thirties, living on our land that has a beautiful Windmill near Ericeira with our 2 babies and a dog.
  
  We are in the process of establishing a sustainable, completely self-sufficient homestead lifestyle, with later homeschooling of the children.
  
  Our current projects consist of building out a container, a van, a platform, a greenhouse and a veggie garden, planting fruit trees and beneficial/medicinal herbs garden.
  
  At this moment, we would need help with building all these features and establishing the garden. We are looking for a person/couple who can stay with us a minimum of 1 month, also to get to know our workawayers personally and don't create the feeling of a hostel that changes volunteers every week.
  
  Ericeira is best known for its surfing community, amazing beaches and costal hiking trails.
  Furthermore its proximity to Lisbon and Sintra. It is considered Europes surfing "Mecca" and attracts lots, lots of young&alternative people every year.

  We will be learning from each other. We want the workawayers to join in with whatever projects we are working on, hopefully, they will be teaching us as we will be teaching them.
  
  We tend to communicate with each other in English so the workawayers can improve their English if they wish, however German and Portuguese are also frequently spoken here! We would all eat together and take turns to cook and clean up! We eat more or less anything, without restrictions.

  Aide

  We would expect you to help 4 hours per day, 5 times per week. In return, we provide accommodation in our amazing Cabin.
  We can provide a skateboard or bicycle for you to get around by yourself.
  If we go for hikes with the dog, to surf, to work out/fitness or generally go somewhere by car, we can obviously take you with us to join the fun. Also if we go for lunches, dinners, hardware store or whatever you're always welcome to catch a ride.
  Please don't expect us to drive you everywhere all the time.

  FROM 1ST OF MAY:
  Most frequent tasks:
  - Help set up container, repairing fences, establish the garden.
  - Garden help, set up hot beds, raised beds, greenhouse, compost and planting and seeding.
  
  Most times we work together, but independent and sometimes alone. We like people who are happy to work independently on their task and as a team if a hand is needed!

  FROM 1ST OF JUNE:
  Preferably women to: Help with the kids/childcare and house maintenance (includes cooking, cleaning, etc.).

  Hébergement

  There's a Bungalow in the garden or the Van with a bed in it. It's a small wooden Cabin on our land, where you will have a quiet and private space for you (single or couple). The bathroom will be shared with us (annexed to the windmill), and the kitchen is also shared. Since it is inside the house, the kitchen will only be accessible when we are here and the house is open. Generally for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If not, we're probably all out for lunch together.
  
  Since we will be sharing meals, we do expect you to help with food preparation, washing up and clearing up afterwards. This shouldn't be part of the 4 hours help daily. We don't follow any specific diet, but we do like to eat healthy.
  
  We expect you to keep your room tidy whilst staying and clean it before leaving, so it's in a nice state for the next workawayers!
