  Hello, my name is Alberto and I live in Ribeira de Piquín, in the mountains of Lugo, in the heart of rural Galicia.
  
  I'd like to exchange English conversation for guitar and music lessons. I'm a guitarist with experience in various styles (blues, jazz, folk, etc.) and I want to improve my spoken English for a future trip around the world, where I'll be filming a documentary project I've been working on for years.
  
  To help you get to know me a little better: since July 2024, I've returned to the countryside, a decision I'm very happy about. Between 2016 and 2021, I already lived here for five years, one of the happiest periods of my life. For work and family reasons, I had to move back to the city between 2021 and 2024, but over a year ago I decided to return permanently, and here I am again.
  
  Ribeira de Piquín is a municipality with immense natural and ethnographic value. Here, villages and landscapes that preserve the essence of authentic Galicia are still found: oak and chestnut forests, rivers, mountains, and valleys teeming with biodiversity. Furthermore, the nearby municipalities—A Fonsagrada, Ancares, Negueira de Muñiz, Pedrafita—stand out for their scenic beauty.
  
  It's an excellent rural area to live in and to visit.
  
  Hola, me llamo Alberto y vivo en Ribeira de Piquín, en la montaña lucense, pleno rural de Galicia.
  Me gustaría intercambiar conversación en inglés por clases de guitarra y música. Soy guitarrista con experiencia en varios estilos (blues, jazz, folk…) y quiero mejorar mi inglés hablado para un futuro viaje alrededor del mundo, donde grabaré un proyecto de película documental en el que llevo años trabajando.
  
  Para que me conozcas un poco más: desde julio de 2024 he regresado al rural, una decisión de la que estoy muy satisfecho. Entre 2016 y 2021 ya viví aquí durante cinco años, una de las etapas más felices de mi vida. Por motivos laborales y familiares tuve que volver a la ciudad entre 2021 y 2024, pero hace más de un año decidí regresar definitivamente, y aquí estoy de nuevo.
  
  Ribeira de Piquín es un municipio con un enorme valor natural y etnográfico. Aquí aún se conservan pueblos y paisajes que mantienen la esencia de la Galicia auténtica: bosques de robles y castaños, ríos, montañas y valles de gran biodiversidad. Además, los municipios cercanos —A Fonsagrada, Ancares, Negueira de Muñiz, Pedrafita…— destacan por su riqueza paisajística.
  
  Es una zona rural excelente para vivir y para visitar.

  Hébergement

  The accommodation is in full habitable condition. The workawayers would have their own room, comfortable bed, shared bathroom and shower, washing machine, kitchen, heating, Wi-Fi, three meals a day.
