Based in Nozawa Onsen a very Traditional Farming village in the mountains of Nagano Japan.
It is also one of the most famous hot spring towns in Japan with 13 free onsens to enjoy all year round.
In Winter it is a mecca for skiers and snowboarders with some of the best powder snow in the world.
We are looking for helpers for our lodges.
Lot of things to do this Summer/Autumn getting lodges ready for the coming winter season. Painting, Cleaning, Gardening etc.
Anyone with renovation skills also most welcome, Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Tiling etc
It is a beautiful time of year to be up here with the leaves changing colour and nice cool mountain air.
In your downtime you can enjoy Mt Biking, Hiking, Onsens, exploring the village and surrounding area.
We have mainly full time staff for Winter but if you are really good could consider you for Winter too, but our main need is for help now before Winter starts.
Over Winter we need help with Snow Shovelling, Guests relations, cooking and cleaning
Great time to be up in the mountains with the leaves changing colour and enjoy the hot springs while helping us get set up.

Mountain lodges. Staff get to use the staff accommodation and beds in beautiful Japanese style Tatami rooms with views over the mountains. Would be sharing with other Workaway team but if a couple have own room.
