Hiya, I'm Kaz! My husband and I took a sabbatical from our jobs to spend more quality time as a family and figure out what we want to do and where we want to settle down.
We started our journey in July, packed up our caravan, and are exploring Europe with our two young kids and our gorgeous, very well-behaved 6-year-old labradoodle, Shaggy. Back home, our beautiful house in Birmingham — which we lovingly renovated ourselves — is now listed on Airbnb while we're away.
We are very hard working and would love to help out in any way we can- helping out with kids, animals, cooking or manual work (firewood, building work, carpentry, electrical work etc). We dont expect our hosts to provide 3 meals a day or a place in the house. We have a lovely caravan and can cook our own meals or share cooking with others 🙂.

I've got Estonian roots, and growing up I spent a lot of time out in the fields — picking, sowing, and tending vegetables — so there's a real soft spot in my heart for getting my hands dirty. We still love growing our own veg in a greenhouse whenever we get the chance! What makes me happiest is slowing down: settling into a place properly instead of rushing through it, working with my hands, and showing our kids the world at a pace that actually means something. We'd love to meet new people through Workaway and connect with hosts and fellow travellers who love adventure, growing things, and building stuff just as much as we do!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We're a couple with a wide range of practical skills, and we're creative, hard working and practical people who love thinking outside the box and helping others.

Craig has over 20 years of experience as an electrical engineer, and beyond that he can fix almost anything — lawnmowers, cars, kitchen equipment, broken furniture — he loves a challenge. I grew up working the fields in Estonia, picking, sowing, and tending vegetables, and still love growing produce in our greenhouse. Together we have lots of experience in home renovations and love creating something that stands out from the rest. Our most recent project was building a sauna at our UK property.
We currently host our own Airbnb property in the UK, so we're used to hands-on maintenance, guest-ready housekeeping, and clear, practical communication.
