Description
we are located near Bourges which is a wonderful medieval town with lots of tourism and history. 40 minutes away, we are in the middle of Sancerre reknown for its white wine and now its Pinot Noir. We are also 20 minutes away from Sologne where huge forests are to be visited. The accomodation is a room with WIFI.
We use organic vegies and meat for our meals and cook all meals on the premises.
I do not need help with the hotel as I have paid staff to do the cleaning and the upkeep of the rooms. The extra help is for my personal house which is on the premises but separate from the hotel. As for the help with the migrants, I do voluntary work to teach them French, English and western culture as the governement has not enough budget to cover for this.

You will learn about our food and wine culture. You will certainly learn about history as Bourges has been the theatre of many historical events throughout the century. World reknowned wine growing areas are just round the corner and always scenic to see at any time of the year. Markets are plentiful and rich of good organic produce which is used in the restaurant.
Aide
The workaways should have an interest in food as it is an important subject to discuss specially in France!!! You will experience French and international food and the exchange of food cultures is more than welcome! I like workaways to plan a 3 weeks stay minimum in my place.
Help requested is generally some maintenance skills of an ordinary house... Some painting, caring of the garden, cooking with me... Help also in teaching English or paying soccer with my African migrants, they are keen!

I like the sharing of cultures which I find very rewarding and enriching. I have travelled to many country myself , visited and lived in some of them for a while( Australia 25 years, Canada, Spain, Uk, USA, Vietnam, Luxembourg....). I can show you around the place and I take my job as a host very seriously... I am easy going and loves a good belly laugh, an excellent wine and good company. If you come here you will get to know the neighbours and my little community. It is fun!
