  Description

  I live in Roccaverano, a small village in the north rural Italy. I live in a little house surrouded by nature and I'm making a self-sufficent place where I love to live. I work in 2 different farm during the week and i need volunteers to help the project grow up. I am only asking for help with my personal farmstead, no commercial farms.

  My place is a rural and remote area in Piedmont, north of Italy. The area Is famous for the local goat cheese "Roccaverano".
  
  I run a little goat herd. l'm off for work 8 hours 5/7 days. I would need someone can help me in the daily Jobs around the house (cleaning, cooking) and also with Animals (feeding, watering) and vegetables garden (watering, cleaning). I would share my life and organize everything day by day, sharing the breakfast and the dinner. In the weekend I'm home and I can organize others acrivities with the guest. Than I would ask people for one month or more so everyone has enought time to understand the little farm and the tasks. People here can learn about farm animals, working sheepdogs, guardian dogs, working donkeys, managing pasture and barns and cheesemaking. There Is also a vegetable garden and a forest to make fire-wood so Who will come can learn about managing all the aspect of a self sufficent place.

  Aide

  I need help in my farmstead while I'm working away from home during the week. The tasks will be easy to learn like cleaning the garden, water the vegetables, check the animals, cleaning the house and this sort of things.
  
  For more important tasks like building of fence maintenance I will be always there with the Workawayers.
  
  No one needs to come with my to help in other commercial farms. All help is in the farmstead.

  Hébergement

  In Winter Workawayers can stay in the living room where they can also use the kitchen. This Is a shared area!! There Is Just one stove in the little house and this Is the best solution to stay warm.
  
  I Summer there Is a private roon where Workawayers can have more privacy. They can also decide to sleep in a tent if they like and use the facilities of the house
  
  Shared toilet and kitchen.
  
  I really like coocking and italian traditional food. I try to produce as mucho as I can but i have to buy something. I like by quality food from producers and farmers.
  I let people use what I have in the house.
  
  Important: I raise animals (goats and chickens) also for the meat! Vegetarian and vegan Will be welcome but they have to tolerate meat eaters.

  Autres infos...

  The closest village Is 3 kilometeres away. There Is a shop, a pharmacy and a restaurant. There aren't public transport and you have to love rural and remote place to enjoy the area.
  
  The Hills and forests are perfect for outdoor sporta like Mountain bike, trail running ore hiking. You can also enjoy the nature and observe wild animals like deers, boars and wolves.
  
  Here the day start early: i wake up at five and check everything to leave the house at half past six in the morning. I like people enjoy the morning...
  I work in two different farm for 5/6 days per week so you have to be able to work alone and understand the jobs. And you have to enjoy the solitude!

  Dogs are welcome here but they must respect the rules of the house and the other dogs because here there are 4 working dogs and others animals!
