Description
The school is in Samoeng, a village located in a remote mountain area of the north of Thailand. It's one hour drive from Chiang mai city. In Samoeng you'll find restaurants, supermarkets, a bank, a farmacy, a post office, etc.
Our students, a little more than 100, are 3 to 15 years old.
Although we are a goverment school, we teach on a way inspired by Montessory system. Most of the teaching is provided to small groups where students take an active part in the teaching process. We care about the happiness of our kids.
Half of our student come from Burmese families. They are stateless and their future will be difficult, they need your help to get a good star in their life.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

- See how hill tribe people grow special crops in order to escape poverty (strawberries, coffee, avocado, etc.) and bring it to the market.
- Share good moments with the students and the teachers who are very exited to spent time with foreigners.Projets impliquant des enfants

Vincent and Meau are doing such a good job in this school and I'm very glad that I was able to join their work for 3 weeks. I stayed for 1,5 weeks in a thai family (beautiful experience, thank you Meau) and the other 1,5 weeks in the school with the other teachers.
I learned a lot about the Thai culture and I will… read more
I had a great experience teaching the children in kindergarten and primary 1 and 2.
At first it was a bit of a search what to teach and where to start because there were not many volunteers before me and I did not know the English level of the children.
After some time I got the hang of it and I was… read more
