    Description

    Hello and welcome,

Over the past few years, I have travelled to many parts of the world and met wonderful people along the way. These experiences inspired me to value a slower, more connected way of living, where people can share everyday life surrounded by nature.

I now live in Sapporo, about 20 minutes by car from the city centre. My private home has a garden surrounded by trees, with beautiful mountain views. I enjoy growing vegetables and learning about sustainable living.

During the winter, I appreciate some help with snow shovelling around my home, usually starting early in the morning, as part of daily life. In other seasons, the focus is on gardening and light outdoor activities that we can enjoy together.

This stay is not about business-related help. It is a cultural exchange and a sharing of everyday life. There are no accommodation, hospitality, or guest-related tasks involved.

If you enjoy nature, a simple lifestyle, and meaningful cultural exchange, I would be very happy to welcome you.

By staying here, you can experience everyday life in Hokkaido, especially the rhythm of living in a snowy region during winter.

Sapporo is the fifth-largest city in Japan and the cultural and economic centre of Hokkaido. You can enjoy exploring the city, visiting local cafés, and experiencing a lifestyle where nature and urban life exist close together.

Living here in winter also means learning how to live alongside snow — clearing snow, keeping the house safe and warm, and appreciating the quiet, beautiful atmosphere that winter brings. These are very local experiences that are difficult to have as a tourist.

Through sharing daily life, you can also learn about simple and sustainable living, such as gardening and permaculture ideas (mainly outside the winter season), and ways of living in harmony with nature.

This is a place for cultural exchange — sharing ideas, spending everyday moments together, and experiencing Japanese life in a calm and peaceful environment.

During the winter months, I sometimes appreciate help with snow shovelling around my private home, such as clearing paths and keeping the surroundings safe as part of daily life.

In other seasons, we may spend some time together in the garden — planting, weeding, harvesting vegetables, and enjoying simple outdoor activities inspired by permaculture ideas.

No special skills are required. This is not a help arrangement, but a cultural exchange and a sharing of everyday life. Activities are flexible and naturally fit around daily routines rather than fixed working hours.
