  Description

  Hi! We are a Chinese family of three living in Osaka, Japan. My husband and I both work in education, and we have a 10-year-old son who is cheerful, curious and loves drawing, crafts, football and making things.
  
  We are a multilingual family. At home, we speak Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and Teochew (Chaoshan dialect), while our son also speaks Japanese at school. So language and cultural exchange are already a natural part of our everyday life.
  
  We would love to welcome someone from another country into our home for a cultural and language exchange. We hope you can spend some time chatting, playing games or doing activities with our son in English, while also sharing your culture and everyday life with our family. In return, we would be happy to share our languages, Chinese culture and our experience of everyday life in Japan with you.
  
  We live in a quiet residential area of Osaka with convenient public transportation. Tennoji is only three subway stops away, and Umeda is about ten stops away. Kyoto and Nara are also easy to visit from here.
  
  You will have your own room, and we also have a bicycle that you can use to explore Osaka during your free time.
  
  We hope this will be more than just a place to stay. We would love it to be a relaxed cultural exchange where we can learn from each other, share our languages and cultures, and enjoy everyday life together.

  At home, we speak Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and Teochew, and our son also speaks Japanese. If you are interested, we would be happy to share our languages, Chinese culture, food and everyday family life with you.
  
  We also hope to introduce you to everyday life in Osaka beyond the usual tourist experience. You can explore our local neighbourhood, parks, shops, markets and community life, and experience what it is like to live in a quiet residential area of Osaka.
  
  My husband and I both work in education, so we also enjoy exchanging ideas about education, children and life in different countries.
  
  Most importantly, we hope to learn from each other. We would love to hear about your country, culture, language, food and way of life, and for our son to grow up meeting people from different parts of the world.

  Aide

  We are mainly looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and is happy to communicate with our 10-year-old son in English.
  
  There is no formal teaching required. We would love for English to become a natural part of his everyday life through conversations, playing games, drawing, crafts, cooking, outdoor activities, or simply spending time together.
  
  You are also welcome to share your own culture, hobbies, food, music or anything you enjoy with us. If you are interested in Chinese language or culture, we would be very happy to share that with you too.
  
  We hope the exchange feels relaxed and natural rather than like a job. The most important thing for us is genuine communication, cultural exchange and enjoying time together.
  
  Maximum 2-3 hours a day, 5 days a week

  Hébergement

  You will have your own private room in our family home. Our home is clean and comfortable, and located in a quiet residential area of Osaka.
  
  You are welcome to use the shared bathroom, kitchen and other common areas of the house. Wi-Fi is available, and we can also provide a bicycle for you to use during your stay.
  
  Meals are self-catered, so you will be responsible for your own food. You are welcome to use our kitchen and cooking facilities to prepare your meals. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.
  
  We want you to feel comfortable and at home while also having your own private space and plenty of free time to explore Osaka and the surrounding area.

  We live in a quiet and convenient residential area of Osaka. Tennoji is only three subway stops away, and Umeda is about ten stops away. It is also easy to travel to Nara and Kyoto from here.
  
  You will have plenty of free time to explore on your own, and we can provide a bicycle for you to use during your stay.
  
  We are a relaxed family, but we value cleanliness, mutual respect and personal space. As we have a child at home, we appreciate a quiet and comfortable home environment, especially at night.
  
  We hope you will feel at home here and enjoy experiencing everyday life in Osaka rather than just seeing the city as a tourist.
