Description
It is situated in south-west Portugal, a top location for your visit in Portugal! 5 minutes from the nearest beautiful city of Lagos and 15 mn from closest stunning beaches. I am the owner of this 1ha land renovated old farm, separated in 3 appartments: 1 of them I live in and the other 2 are rented longterm to lovely people. We live as consciouly as possible with our water consumption and our respect for the environment.
I have a 6yr old daughter and running the property on my own and I am looking for keen and skilled helpers for the first time this year, families very welcome :)
The property has its own water borehole and solar system for energy, a salt water pool, a medicinal herb garden, a wooden green house and a new temple workshop space. I have a brand of homemade herbal remedies and i am starting to host small conscious events children/adults in the temple space this school year.
The property feels like a little oasis in the area, surrounded by exotic plants and a pool. We have a nice compost toilet in the area of the temple, a kids tree house (that needs to be finished!) and a shaded place for hammac relaxing time.
I am looking for helpers travelling with their own camper/van. There is no common kitchen yet (eventually to build!). I need physical help in a few areas of the land (general maintenance, clearing, gardening, creating new spaces).
I am looking for experienced, conscious, clean workaways and very happy to share my lifetime of travelling adventures too ~ Looking forward to meeting you! ~Jaya

I need physical help in a few areas of the land (general maintenance, clearing, gardening, creating new spaces). I am looking for experienced, conscious, independant and honest workaways that could work 3 hours a day in exchange of a beautiful and friendly place to stay in a perfect and handy location with washing machine and pool access. Families with children welcome!

I am looking for helpers travelling with their own camper/van or could stay in our lotus tent (we would need to build a platform base first). There is no common kitchen or shower yet (eventually to build as well!) but if needed at first there is possibility for shower access. Washing machine available and access to our pool. For now I am not able to provide food in the deal as regular, as I am a busy single mother with a young child (hard to be everywhere!). But happy to share stories over some meal now and there :)

Quinta is situated in the country side of south-west Portugal, 5 minutes from the nearest beautiful city of Lagos, 25 min from Aljezur (popular hub on the west coast) and 15minutes from closest beaches. We are basically surrounded by the top beaches in Europe! There are countless activities in our region for children and adults, as well as a huge variety of events (cultural to alternative). Surfing, horse riding, hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, boat trips etc. Right across the street is a small bus stop to the city of Lagos but best is to have a vehicle to get yourself around or a bike!

There is an outdoor pergola next to the pool where you can plug in your devices and where you can tap into the internet from our house.
Espace pour garer des vans
We are welcoming workaways with campervans as we have space on our land for parking, though there is no installation to plug yourself in for electricity (we work on a solar system for our main house). We are working on installing a proper tap outside for water usage. Otherwise we need some help to build a little outdoor shower!

We have 2 cats, no dog. I don't mind cat, but dog ONLY IF the dog is super well behaved with children and ideally not chasing cats.......
