  Description

  We are Kevin and Kinga, the arctic guides & happy owners of a stunning, human-size touristic place in heart of "little paradise " in the North of Lapland. It's an authentic holiday village, reindeer-herders' farm, with 50 years of history. We are in heart of unique nature, Wilderness Muotkantunturi Area, just on the way to the North Cape. Here it's a perfect place for nature, culture and international encounters lovers. We recieve people travelling by campervans, bike, car or simply hiking across local mountains.   You can go to North Cape from here, see the Norwegian fjords but also make infinite number of hiking, packrafting and other outdoor activities. Its also a true paradise to see the authentic culture of Saami and visit their famous museum Siida.
  
  In spring and autumn we do renovations and maintenance work in addition to the routine travellers welcoming. We also go hiking, fishing, packrafting and snowmobiling in our free time. It's also a great time to prepare our high season and make every client visit a unique experience.
  
  We bough this legendary place 1 year ago and we are happy to receive the workaways in such a great place!

  We are French and Polish couple and we receive everyday autochtone Saami people and international travellers. In our camps the priority given for international exchange.

  Aide

  We search for passionate people to help us to welcome our guest and help in everyday activity tasks such as housekeeping, outdoor works, people welcoming etc.
  We propose comportable and private accommodation in the heart of our village (calm and beautiful place) with a symbolic compensation for the food of 5Eur per day.
  We pay our workways the going rate in the season - more information is provided during the application process and dependign of the profile. On average it is around 13 Eur per hour.

  We believe that one of the great benefits of any cultural exchange is learning local culture and lifestyle by experience and day-to-day life sharing. Especially in arctics it can be a very thrilling experience where the harmony with nature and a sense of freedom are absolutely unique!

  Hébergement

  We propose the small, private apartment with private bathroom, working space and fridge. We offer our own kitchen for shared cooking and meals. It is directly in the village, in the heart of nature. All is clean, secure and cozy with the beddings.
