Jana is a lovely young woman who fitted easily into my household, and helped out with a lot of the heavier tasks in the garden. Basically, she prepared my garden beds, containers and pots ready for planting, doing all the hard work for me. I just needed to plant the seeds and seedlings.
Jana is confident with the electric pruner and got to the

After 2 weeks in my garden it has been transformed, and 2 weeks later everything is growing well.
Jana was also happy to help out in the house, and helped with some of the cleaning tasks.
I was able to give Jana an introduction to Broome - we saw some live music, a movie at Sun Pics, and visited various Broome beaches.
I would highly recommend Jana for other Hosts, as she is quiet, respectful, and gets on with the job.

Staying with Francesca was a truly wonderful and grounding experience. I spent 2,5 weeks at her lovely home and felt at ease from the very first moment. Francesca is an active, warm and thoughtful woman who immediately made me feel welcome.
During my stay, I helped with a variety of tasks both in the garden and in the house, like weeding,
… read more preparing plant beds, cutting trees, clearing leaves, cleaning and more. The work was always fair and never too intense, especially during the hotter hours, as Francesca was very mindful and considerate about working conditions.
I also really appreciated having my own space, including a kitchen, which gave a great sense of balance between privacy and shared moments. We spent some lovely times together! We went out for swims, sunsets, the cinema, ... She also took me out for my birthday which was lovely and won't forget.
Francesca’s place has a peaceful and welcoming energy and I’m truly grateful for the time I spent there. I would happily recommend staying with her!

Jantje is a very lovely and perceptive young woman. Her gardening skills are exceptional, and she had a quick understanding of just what I wanted done . Jantje only had to be told once, and she just got on with the job.
Jantje really enjoys being in the garden, and helped a lot in mine in the short 3 days she stayed with me. She cleaned out my
… read more pond, erected a chicken fence, and was very adept at handling the chainsaw to prune trees. She also pulled out a lot of weeds.
We shared meals together, and talked a lot, and I found her to be a very thoughtful, caring, intelligent young woman, with a lot to give to the world.
I believe anyone who is lucky enough to have Jantje come to do Workaway will be very happy to meet her, and pleased with the work she does.
I would certainly welcome her back to my house any time.

Staying at Francesca's place was a truly special experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and at home. She has an incredible way of making everyday life feel meaningful – whether it was through her amazing cooking, a really good coffee, or the lovely conversations we shared.
During my stay, I helped with various tasks around
… read more the house and garden – setting up fences, weeding, and doing general garden work. The work was fulfilling and always appreciated. We also shared some really nice moments outside of the daily routine – we went to yoga together and even spent some time at the beach, which made the experience even more enjoyable and well-rounded.
What stood out to me most was the peaceful atmosphere and her thoughtful way of living, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy the days. It was not just about helping out – it was a genuine cultural exchange and a chance to slow down and connect.
I’m really grateful for the time I spent there and would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone open to learning, helping, and enjoying good company.

Barbara is a truly amazing woman, and very very capable in all things to do with gardening and landscaping. In the month that she stayed with me, she transformed my whole garden, giving me good advice re the trees that had to be pruned, doing the job very capably with both electric saw and hand saw. She worked carefully and methodically, and
… read more filled the trailer to its maximum capacity without wasting space. She tackled the task of creating a water feature with careful attention to the result I wanted, and I now have this beautiful lasting focal point in my garden which will always remind me of Barbara.
Barbara also tackled my cleaning tasks with enthusiasm, mostly involving being on a ladder, cleaning fans and light fittings. General household cleaning was not a problem for Barbara, and I give her heartfelt thanks for all of the help which she gave me.
Barbara is friendly, thoughtful and easy to get along with, and was very good company to have around.
Barbara is a true gem amongst Workawayers, and I would welcome her back.Feedback
