  Description

  Hi, my name is Abdelrahman. Me and my family are Bedouins who live in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. We have been working with tourists for years. We offer overnight stays in our traditional camp or cave and we take our guests on 4x4 Jeep tours, camel rides and hiking/climbing tours.. We have learned to speak English through working with the tourists from a young age. We love our simple life in the desert, work hard during the day and relax around the campfire at night.

  We offer you a free stay in our camp and will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will really experience the traditional way of living in and around the desert. We will teach you traditional dance, some arabic words and show you around in the desert. You will meet the locals, live among them, learn about the culture and customs. Learn about life in the desert as a Bedouin.

  Aide

  We have been hosting tourists for many years already, but we would like to expand our online business. We are looking for someone to help us with maintaining/improving our website (wix), and other digital platforms like. Especially someone with a background in design, (social media) marketing or SEO is very welcome! Our oral English is very good, but our written English could be better. Therefor we also could also use some help with communicating online (mail / WhatsApp) with our guests. If while you are here get any ideas yourselves about improving our business online, we are always open for suggestions!
  
  If you want to explore the rest of Jordan during our stay you're always free to go and discover the ancient city of Petra or relax a day at the beach in Aqaba.

  Hébergement

  Your accommodation will be with us in our traditional Bedouin camp. You will get a private Bedouin tent, with a bed an warm blankets. The bathrooms are shared (woman/man separate), with hot water and western style toilets. In our main communal tent we have Wi-Fi, power sockets to charge your electronics and inside and outside lounges. Everyday we have a breakfast and dinner buffet for our guests, from which we and you also eat. During the day we will mostly work from our family home in the village.
