Dog/House sitting opportunity in Oaxaca, Mexico

  Description

  We are a married couple from Nottingham,UK and Oaxaca in Southern Mexico respectively. We have lived in Mexico for almost 8 years. We have a 5 bed house with pool in the tourist area of Huatulco on the Pacific coast on the edge of a National Forest. We are close to the airport (15km) and 400m from the beach (with a further 30 beaches within a 10 min taxi ride and another 100 along the coast north and south).
  
  We have seven adorable little dogs and we are looking for someone to both housesit and look after the dogs for approx 14 days days in May 26. (5th -19th)
  
  Our dogs are our babies and we want to make sure they are looked after by someone who will take care of them properly, preferably someone with experience of looking after dogs, their own or someone else's. They will need feeding and walking once a day and will need someone to be in the house overnight for the duration. We are happy to accommodate sitters for a longer period before or after the sitting period in order to travel to other places in Oaxaca and the rest of Mexico. Oaxaca is the cultural heart of Mexico and Huatulco is a beautiful and increasingly expensive place to holiday so this is an ideal opportunity for someone to enjoy time in. a nice house in a place where we have, on average, 330 days of sunshine per year. This workaday would suit 2 people.

  Huatulco is a rapidly growing tourist resort that is still Mexican despite many visitors from Canada and USA (Nov -March) In the summer months tourists are predominantly Mexican. There are dozens of cheap, authentic places serving Oaxacan food and many beaches to swim or snorkel. There are boat tours along the coast and waterfalls nearby.
