  Hello from Avigliana, Piedmont! We are a family living in a beautiful villa with a private swimming pool—perfect for guests to enjoy on hot summer days. During the summer months, we each take turns traveling for holidays, and we’re looking for a reliable, caring Workawayer to stay in our home and look after everything while we’re away.
  
  About Us & Our Home
  
  Location: Avigliana is a peaceful, picturesque town in the Piedmont region, just a short train ride from Turin. You’ll enjoy stunning lake views, rolling hills, and easy access to hiking trails in the nearby Sacra di San Michele area.
  
  Our Villa: Spacious and bright, with a large garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and olive trees. There’s a private swimming pool (perfect for hot summer afternoons), cozy living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen.
  
  Your Room: You’ll have access to a triple bedroom—it’s roomy enough for up to three people, with a comfortable double bed plus a single bed, a wardrobe, and a small desk. Wi-Fi and all common areas (including the pool) are completely free to use.
  
  Your Tasks & Responsibilities
  
  Pet Care: We have two friendly cats and an affectionate dog. You will need to:
  
  Feed them twice a day
  
  Spend a bit of time playing or cuddling
  
  Ensure they have fresh water daily
  
  Occasionally brush them and clean the litter boxes
  
  House Sitting:
  
  Collect mail and keep the inside of the villa tidy
  
  Make sure doors and windows are locked when you leave for errands or short outings
  
  Notify us if any maintenance or unexpected issues arise (e.g., a leak or broken appliance)
  
  Garden Help:
  
  Water plants and flowers regularly (especially potted ones around the pool)
  
  Trim small hedges or prune flowers if needed
  
  Sweep fallen leaves or debris around the patio and pool area
  
  These tasks typically take 3–4 hours per day, leaving you plenty of free time to relax.
  
  What We Offer in Return
  
  Accommodation: Your own private triple bedroom in our villa, equipped with bedding, a wardrobe, and a desk.
  
  Pool Access: Use of our private swimming pool anytime—great for cooling off, reading by the water, or socializing with friends if you bring guests.
  
  Meals: We’ll provide three simple, home-cooked Italian meals per day. If you prefer to cook for yourself, you’re welcome to use our well-stocked kitchen and ingredients.
  
  Cultural Exchange: Practice your Italian (or English) with us, learn about Piedmont’s traditions, and explore local festivals, markets, and wineries. We love showing Workawayers around and introducing them to our friends in Avigliana.
  
  Free Time: After completing your daily tasks, you’ll have plenty of time to:
  
  Swim in the pool
  
  Explore nearby lakes (Lago Grande and Lago Piccolo)
  
  Hike in the hills or visit Sacra di San Michele
  
  Relax in the garden with a good book
  
  Ideal Candidate
  
  Responsible, animal-loving, and respectful of our home and belongings.
  
  Comfortable with basic gardening tools and willing to learn any specific care tips we share.
  
  Intermediate English (or Italian) is helpful so we can communicate easily, but willingness to learn is more important than perfection.
  
  Flexible and trustworthy: we will occasionally be out of town for a few days, so we need someone we can count on to keep things running smoothly.

  What We Ask:
  
  In exchange for your stay, we ask you to take care of our beloved dogs and cats. Responsibilities include feeding, walking, and providing companionship to the pets. The exact dates are non-negotiable as we need reliable pet care during this period.

  Ability to commit to the full duration of the stay
