  Description

  The house that you will visit was build by my parents with personal work! When they both died, we had to face the challenge to maintain the house alive and the agriculture style of living. Every year we plant seasonal vegetables and take care of the house and the field around which is almost three acres long. It is challenging because mainly we have to work with our own hands and minds! The most important for visiting our house is to be a person seaking for personal development.
  My name is Alexandra and my yogic name is Parvati. I'm a trained yoga instructor from Satyananda Yoga Hellas. I will be your hostess during your stay. Occasionally other people from my family stay in the house: Eleftheria, Maritsa, Maria, George, Giannis.
  My profession is teaching music and my dream is teaching yoga as a life movement ... Also there are two pianos avaliable in the house for practice on specific time.
  The area that you are going to visit, Megali Panagia, Halkidiki is globally known the last 15 years for the struggles against gold mines.

  You will visit the area of Aristotles (). Clean air, sea and nature with a long history that goes through the ancient times! Megali Panagia is a village also known as Rebenikia from 942 a.d. There are a lot to feel and understand when someone stays in this land. The house is wonderful for meditation and spiritual practice. We can also build our physical strength by doing Yoga in the yard every morning but sometimes decompression is more necessary. Agriculture and intellectual style of living, understanding the plants and how to build an organic garden, living consciously, personal growth, bathing in the sea, visiting a unique community aware of environmental issues! It will be fantastic to meet, coordinate and spend sometime together on the same project!

  Aide

  We have to work about 4 hours a day, about 9.00-13.00 and of course 5 days during a week! Every day (it depends on the season) we will decide what is important to be done. Some days we will take care of the garden or cleaning the house or painting a wall or a fence, or cleaning the yard, picking cherries, taking care of the trees or flowers, cutting grass etc.

  A spare room in the house, same floor with the same WC or another floor if it is available...
  We eat all together for lunch! All types of food. Breakfast (e.g.bread and honey, marmalade) and dinner (e.g. eggs or salat from the garden) also can be provided.
