    Description

Eco community located near Iquitos, Peru. To reach our place it is a beautiful boat ride of about 1 hour down the Amazon river. We are a plant learning based community working in the traditional ways and are built sustainably on 50 acres off near a local village on the Amazon river. We are students of the jungle. We educate and host healing retreats in a traditional setting. We offer bungalow accommodation with beds, showers, running water, flush toilets, and kitchen access. We also offer a community environment where we share stories, play music, and learn about plant medicine. We work to help each other, to relax, and enjoy our sacred settingn in the jungle. A once in a life time opportunity to immerse yourself in the Amazon among its magical plants and animals and learn directly form source. We speak fluent English and ok Spanish.

Food is not included in your workaway stay. There are 2 options for food. Contribute 20 soles a day and we cook and share meals together or workawayers can be individually responsible for bringing and cooking their own food. Food needs to be brought in from Iquitos which takes some work.

A well rounded education in plant medicine, eco tourism, and the benefits of explortation in the Amazon jungle. Through working around the property, harvesting, planting and discussion, workawayers will gain knowledge of the Amazonian plants/foods in the region and how they are utilized by locals and also will develop an idea of how developing civilization is impacting the Amazonian plants and animals. We can visit locals in the village and learn about day to day life in the village. What people do to survive and make a living. Workawayers will develop a greater understanding and perspective of life. Both plant and human.

We’re looking for motivated volunteers to help us maintain and breathe new life into our beautiful riverside property in the Amazon. The place has a lot of character but is a bit run down and needs some love — from basic repairs and upkeep to creative improvements.
We’d also love help with finishing our website (updating content, photos, and basic improvements).
This is a great spot for digital nomads and remote workers — we have reliable internet, and the peaceful jungle setting is perfect for focused work alongside meaningful hands-on experiences.
Most of all, we welcome people who are eager to learn about themselves, connect deeply with nature, and immerse in the rich world of the Amazon — its incredible plants, wildlife, culture and local people.
If you’re looking for a meaningful exchange, personal growth, and unforgettable jungle memories, we’d love to hear from you!
