  Description

  Hi workaway,
  I'm looking for a pet sitter from July 19 till July 25.
  I live in a finca, in the countryside near the beautiful village of Gaucín-Malaga. The house is lovely, with a large swimming pool and surrounded by mountains. No noice from neighbourghs, just nature and silence!
  I have a large vegetable garden, a chicken coop and a nice cat.
  The house is 6 min away by car from the village where you will find a pharmacy, different supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. You are close to several natural parks with plenty of hiking routes, 35 min away from the coast and 50 min from Ronda.
  
  IMPORTANT: you must have your own car if you come to this location!

  I'm very interested in permaculture and synthropic agroforestry. I arrived in June 2025 to this house and I'm transforming it at my pace into a more sustainable and regenerative place.
  Also very interested in energetic fields and looking at ways to implement electroculture.
  
  The 3rd week of July Gaucín organises the 'semana cultural' with music, flameco and a via ferrata cirquit.

  Aide

  I'd like help with the feeding of the cat, the chicken (today only one left) and the vegetable garden. In the garden around the house and in the vegetable garden the irrigation is automatic; I would appreciate if you would check on the vegetable garden every second day, to pick up ripe vegetables and fruits and notice if there is any issue with the irrigation system. Once a week the grass needs mowing.
  The swimming pool filter system is automated but does require to daily fish with a net some insects and other floating stuff from the surface and brush the walls of the pool once a week. The robot is to be dropped every second day in the pool so that dust is being cleared from the bottom.
  
  As I will not be there, you will be in charge of your own food supply and cooking.
  
  I expect you to leave the house clean and the sheets and towels whashed upon leaving, hence on July 25th.
  
  The house is RURAL so you must have you own transport.

  Hébergement

  I have 2 double bedrooms available, of which one en suite. The other one has the bathroom just next door. Towels and bedding are provided.
  
  Their is all the kitchen appliances you need for cooking.

  The house has solar panels. Please programme any whashing machine or dishwasher between 10 and 20h.
