  Description

  We are a Franco-English family living in the beautiful little town of Beziers on the Canal du Midi. We live right in the centre of town, close to all amenities, and we are around a 15 minute drive from our nearest beach.
  
  We live in a large town house and we are pretty disorganised people so we’d love to find an organised workaway who could help us sort out our house and garage which are a bit chaotic.
  We also have a project to give our tiny terrace a new lease of life, so would love some help with that (painting, deep cleaning walls etc).

  We are from the UK and French Caribbean so we can offer a multicultural experience at our house, with the occasional Antillais dinner.
  We would be happy to show our Workaway some of the local hotspots and to help them discover our diverse region.
  We would also love to learn about different cultures and cuisine from places we don’t know so well so it would be great to host people from different parts of the world. We love travel and learning about new places.

  Aide

  We are looking for a Workaway who has good organisation skills and can help us find a system in our home so that everything has a place.
  
  We would also like to clear up and clean our small terrace before the summer holidays.
  
  And some help entertaining our two boys (aged 4 and 5) from time to time. They love fun and meeting new people.

  Hébergement

  We can offer a large spare room with double bed.
  There is one shower room for the household but two toilets.
  You can access the kitchen to cook and prepare food, and there is also a living room next to the kitchen with a large TV with Netflix etc.
  In terms of food, we will provide everything needed for you to prepare a simple breakfast and lunch. We will cook an evening meal. You can let us know ahead of coming if there is any particular things you prefer to eat etc. Our youngest son is trialling vegetarianism so more than happy to provide meat free/animal product free meals.

  It’s important to know that we have two small kids aged 4 and 5, so the house can be lively. If you don’t like spending time with young kids, this probably isn’t the place for you.
  We live right in the centre of town in an area which is a little run down but very safe, even at night.
  In terms of getting around, everything in town is accessible by foot. We live right next to the main park and all the shops , bars and restaurants are just minutes away. A little boulangerie is 30 seconds from the house and a small supermarket 2 minutes. Shopping centre with bowling, cinema etc 5-10 minute walk.
  We will be happy to show you some places in the car but if you want to go to the beach by yourself during your free time, there are regular buses from the bus station which is 10 mins away and they cost 1€ per journey. The train station is 10 min walk through the park and has regular trains to nearby towns and cities (including Montpellier, 45 minutes away).

  We can be flexible in terms of hours worked and timings but children are home from school around 5 and it gets a little hectic then.
