My name is Mette.
I am born in 1970, and the fortunate mother of grown up kids, born in 1990,1992,1994.
My house and cabin lifestyle offers the possibility to learn about culture and life in north norway in realtime.
You will stay here as a part of my chosen world family ♥️while hopefully assisting me on some small daily tasks,and some bigger in weekends.
I work fulltime shifts in Tromsø in a shop.
At home i do a lot DIY, cooking, painting, woodchopping ,maintenance ,so it would be awsome if you are interrested in assisting me.
I would love to share my sparetime going on hikes ,do some hobbies explore something new,and really get to know you.I always share personal communications with the ones who wants, and l have a lot of stories to tell😅
Location of the house:
Island Reinøya ,in a small village Finnkroken. 1.5 h-2.5 h drive (ferry and boat) connection from Tromsø.
No water and outdoor toilet.
The cabin Tangen :location in the woods of Tønsvikdalen 25-30 min from city Tromsø. (Bus connection available)
(Sometimes i am hosting in 1 rom.) But You desided together with me (open/closed hosting)
Just let me now in before you come OK?? I take care of everything in hosting ,cleaning etc etc. -

Act together with local people,in rural and peaceful nature, fishing, open and personal communication about life.You may learn about outdoor life,fishing,norwegian?🤭
DIY, and meet people from all around the world.
Most of all ,You will be treated like my beloved family when you are here,and i love my chosen family.
Maybe i will teach you some new skills, and hopefully you can teach me your skills or hobbies or maybe even language?
You will experiece life on an island,and an alternative life in the forest. -

Local museums, art gallery, and boat rental in the island.
Speed boat trip to the city Tromsoe :5 minutes away:every tuesday-thursday. One way :Friday, sunday.
130 km car/bus- drive to Tromso (you need ferry connection)
1x Shop 20 km away.( grocery) or in Hansnes , by ferry/car.
The cabin Tangen has got bus connection 450 .30 minutes from The City Tromsø, with a lot of things to do, different shops, etc -
