  Description

  It is an old family run and only organic domain on the island of Corfu producing wine and olive oil . It is a 120 ha property with 4000 olive trees , 5 ha of vines surrounded by woods and near the sea. Horses , donkeys and sheep help fertilize the soil . Corfu is really beautiful with a lot a walking tracks , wonderful beaches and nature . On the farm two persons work on the vines , four persons run the hospitality of the cellar , two persons look after the olive trees , fences and the rest of the property .

  Our workers speak English so the language is not a problem . You will learn to value the work that is done and learn how to harvest olives from old 400 year trees , in a steep field , having lunch surrounded by animals . It is important to share , feel supported by people from a different culture , exchange informations about different places of the world .

  Aide

  We would need help to harvest the olives: from taking the nets from a place to another , harvesting , separating the leaves from the olives with a machine , lifting the olive boxes and taking them to our own mill . The wage would be 880 euros gross per month or 40 euros gross / day .

  Two wide rooms with two single beds in each room , a bathroom , a kitchen , a sitting room . The kitchen and the sitting room will be shared with a worker ( not the bathroom ) .

  No buses arrive near the Estate , so renting a motorbike is the best option to be able to go the sea after work or visit the island . Town of Corfu is also very nice to visit .
  The other workers work 42 hours per week.
