Description
We are a German / Swiss couple and 55+ years old. We moved to sweden in july 2015. We live in a beautiful landscape without stress. We love to be in nature, enjoy the landscape and animals. We are sociable and enjoy working with other people (nurse and tech. Director, we both worked in a nursing home ). The hamlet in which we live is small, very quiet and friendly. The nearest village is 16 km away and has everything it needs. We, our four cats and six goats like it here very much.
Wir sind ein deutsch/schweizer Ehepaar, 55+ Jahre alt. Im Juli 2015 sind wir nach Schweden ausgewandert. Wir leben in einer wunderschönen Landschaft ohne Hektik und Stress. Wir lieben es in der Natur zu sein, Landschaft und Tiere zu geniessen. Wir sind kontaktfreudig und arbeiten gerne mit anderen Menschen zusammen (Pflegefachfrau und techn. Leiter, waren beide im Pflegeheim tätig). Der Weiler in dem wir leben ist klein, sehr beschaulich und freundlich. Das nächste Dorf ist 16 km entfernt und hat alles was es braucht. Wir, unsere vier Katzen und sechs Ziegen haben uns hier sehr gut eingelebt.

Aide
Carpenter and woodworker are very welcome at the moment.
We have own a piece of land with large forests and meadows and various buildings and connection to a lake. Depending on the capabilities of the application will cooking, help in the garden or with forest work. Cleaning and housekeeping will also be a part of the workawayers work. Upon contact with residents and neighbors it is even possible to learn the language. Help for construction projects is very welcome. We have a guesthouse for rent and sometime we can take care of guests.
Zimmerleute und Schreiner sind zur Zeit herzlich willkommen bei uns.
Wir haben ein Grundstück mit grosser Wald- und Wiesenlandschaft, diversen Gebäuden und Anschluss an einen See. Je nach Fähigkeiten wird der Einsatz beim kochen, im Garten oder bei der Waldarbeit sein. Reinigen und im Haushalt helfen gehört ebenfalls zur Aufgabe der workawayer. Beim Kontakt mit den Anwohnern und Nachbarn wird es sicher auch möglich die Sprache kennen zu lernen. Hilfe bei Bauprojekten ist herzlich willkommen. Wir haben ein Gästehaus zu vermieten und manchmal dürfen wir Gäste betreuen.

The guestroom is in our spacious apartment building. When it is desired is it possibel to stay overnight in a tent or camping car in the beautiful nature.
Im Gästezimmer unseres grosszügigen Wohnhauses, Zimmer im Gästehaus ( Keller) oder Wohnwagen. Wenn der Wunsch besteht, darf auch im Zelt in der schönen Natur übernachtet werden.

It was my first time workaway in lungsjön and i made a very good choice with maria and jurg i could work as much as i wanted and was provided with much and nice food. We enjoyed the time with Jacob very much. He is a really friendly and uncomplicated young man. He helped us with cleaning, the renovation of a guest house, making fire wood and many other things. The time we spend together with Jacob was great and we laught a lot. We hope we will se him again. Maria and Jürg

We stayed one month at Maria's and Jürg's place, it was our first Workaway experience.
We really enjoy the time that we spend their and we really feel us well at their place.
The landscape is amazing, when you just go outside for a walk you can find many beutiful spots.
