Description
If you love animals and enjoy nature and a quiet pace of life then this is the spot for you. We have recently moved and are located between Creston and Nelson BC, on Kootenay Lake and surrounded by the mountains in all directions. We are looking for a couple or two friends to look after Cujo the hound while we take a much needed break and visit family.
Cujo is used to getting three walks a day, usually a long one in the morning and mid day and just a quick one in the evening. During the day he sometimes like to play ball or fetch a stick but other than that he's pretty lazy and about to turn 11. We have a garden which needs watering and possibly some weeding depending on the season. The garden works with nature and produce food which gets processed for winter keeping after the season is over.
We have a year-round creek and the land is surrounded by forest with some near by trails to explore.
Other than that, you're free to hike, enjoy the lake, play games, read a book, get online or hang out at the creek.
