Description
After many good years in Bodø I am now moving to Lofoten. I am therefore preparing my house and garden for sale now.
Independent, friendly and self going people with a sincere interest in culture and travelling are welcome here. See the beautiful area around Bodø while helping out in my garden and house.
Bodø is the "capital" of the county of Nordland, with a central airport for the area, a university, concert hall, fantastic library etc. It is beautifully located on a peninsula overlooking the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The popular Lofoten Islands can be easily reached from Bodø with a direct ferry connection. It takes about 3 hours to get to the Moskenes Island where you'll find the beautiful and most photograped fishing village - Reine.

Yasmin came to the rescue when I needed help quickly in my new front garden, taking away weed, roots and branches and establishing a new lawn before it gets to late in the autumn. She also helped me with renewing an old drywall made of stone, and chores in the house. She is a very easy going person and pleasant to be around.

Besides some work in the garden and a little painting I have been able to explore Bodø and surroundings.
