I'd love some help with my personal exhibition project & to talk english with 9yr old - near Sarlat, Dordogne, France

  Description

  You would have your own space from 7pm until 9am, sleep in a tent or outhouse about 20m from our house but independent- we provide wifi, TV, shower room, kitchenette, green surroundings, in Salignac, Dordogne Périgord Noir area. My OH is french & works in his garage nearby, I am an architect exhibition creator, working from home or office, home is just next door.
  
  You would help to photograph & upload items (adverts from 60s & 70s) to online gallery, promote my dad's photos & help upcycling revisiting creating :-) - you could also help design new items, transform old pictures, restore, scan, touch up, sort through a photographic library, re-jig, recycle, upcycle, create, be inventive, come up with catchphrases - we're hoping to host somebody energetic independent passionate about art, photography & advertising :-)
  
  Late afternoon, for about an hour, you would talk/play with DD age 9 in english (ideally you don't speak french), & daytime we are heads down on the gallery together for an amount of time that we agree - ideally you drive (we can lend you a left hand drive car) but we're only 1km from the supermarket/town centre/all commodities, so it's not essential...
  
  I think that's all, ideally non-smoker, and we don't have any pets so if you had a dog or cat this wouldn't bother us enormously but we don't have any fences, so it would be completely your risk...

  I can assist with learning french or spanish - together we can do gallery preparation work, gardening, various revisitations, and transforming pictures - a great opportunity if you're artistic! I have the space, experience & am full of ideas, there is amazing scenery around Salignac, there are alot of local attractions you can visit nearby, we're surrounded by places like Lascaux, Les Eyzies, Rocamadour, La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Marqueyssac, Eyrignac, Castelnaud, Domme, Padirac, Montignac, Rocamadour etc etc...

  Aide

  Currently working on sorting through all of my dad's photographs - online gallery project up and running, but need help with scanning, treating the scans, designing new prints, taking photos & uploading - somebody who is comfortable with photos scanners negatives transparencies would be great.
  
  There could be some gardening help, only if you enjoy that, I'm mostly dreaming of someone who can speak english with DD age 9 - and when you're with me I can speak french & spanish if useful, the biggest task is talking english with DD a bit in evenings, even if it's only 45 mins a day - reading together, doing some arts and crafts - daytime, you can do gallery / photo scanning sorting etc activities with me, or your own work if you so wish, but the concept is attempting to improve DD's english!
  
  Ideally you can drive (we're 15km from Sarlat itself) but it's not compulsory - ideally you're arty, have relatively high levels of creativity, and are energetic - the dream workawayer can help me do arty & creative things, & hopefully you have fun in the process & can add it to your CV for later opportunities :-)

  Hébergement

  You have the separate building to yourself from 7pm until 9am, you sleep in either your vehicle / camper van or a locked space we provide that's enclosed / lockable but not heated. There is your own shower-room with shower loo and basin, and you have your own fridge, hotplate, microwave, kitchenette to cook your own food independently. We might have some meals together (probably lunches) but ideally you tend to leave us 7pm and I join you at the office perhaps from 9am or later depending on what we agree and how much or little company we'd mutually like!

  Look up Sarlat-la-Canéda, or do a Tripadvisor "things to do" search, & you'll see what an amazing town it is - ideally you have your own vehicle, as public transport is "non-existant" here, but it's also possible for us to lend you a vehicle, this can be discussed - there is so much to discover around here - I think you will find this is a region you'll never forget, if ever you choose to leave, that is ;-) ...
