  Description

  My name is Carlos and moved to Lavre in Alentejo, interior of Portugal (1h from Lisbon) 6 years ago. I bought and rebuild a house with a garden and fruit trees, and made 2 apartments. I live in the bigger one with my dog Ninja, and every week with my to 2 sons, Mateus and Simão, 11 and 8 years old.
  
  Im a tour guide in Moroco (walking tours in Sahara), Togo and Benim, and in Portugal doing caiaque and Donkey tours (several days and wild camping). I travelled all my life, wrote 2 travel books, and Im very happy to know travellers and be able to open my house doors, after being received in so many houses around the world.
  
  Usually my main need is someone to be here with my dog Ninja when im out travelling, in exchange for house, or if i'm around, help me with some light work - usually paintings.
  
  Its a cool place to be around the nature, for someone that want s to chill out some days, enjoy silence, do some walks and enjoy slow Alentejo, or work remotely (I have fast starlink internet). If you want to do many things or party and don´t have a car you ll probably be bored :)
