Description
Sculpture Park which over the last 10 years had many happy volunteers coming to NSW, Sutton Forest.
150 acres property with a huge garden, You will have your own privacy and time to explore the area. This is a historical building, a place that immerse you into another time. It is a former vice regal retreat from 1850's . Currently we are working creating a 10 H. Sculptural park.

Experience the life in Sutton Forest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. At the moment we are also working on a 2nd project where you can help us create a permanent sculpture park.
Aide
We need all kind of help which goes from helping around the farm and helping in the beautiful outside area, helping creating the sculptural park, gardening, and many different exciting things.
We are a 150 acre farm. There is always plenty to do. In addition to this we have formed a non-for profit organisation that has successfully run a number of sculptural festivals over the last five years. We are now creating another 20 acres of sculptural park and there are pieces of sculpture to install.
As you can imagine there's lots of exciting things happening, every day is different and we will see together which area of volunteering would fit you best.
We have a big garden which needs attention to make it perfect. Flowers, trees, mowing, new ideas are more than welcome.
We also have a lot of carpentry work around the farm .
You will have plenty of time to visit many surrounding national parks, beach and surfing spot is just 1h drive away, a lot of hiking spots in the area, golf courses, wine trails.

Damien was a great host. Easy to get along with and a fair Boss. I stayed longer than expected because of the easy Work and the good atmosphere. His son Alex is really cool and you can have a lot of fun with him. I had lots of fun with the other workes. I would definitly return to this place and i can only recommend it to other travellers!

I wanted to spend 3 weeks at the Hotel but ended up staying for one month! It’s a great place to meet lots of other backpackers. The location is beautiful, it’s a peaceful and quiet place. Damien was a fantastic host. The work was varied, honest and fair, albeit a little mundane. I'm pretty certain the work changes with the seasons though. I had a great time working on Damien's property. Having just spent several days in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Sydney, it was great to be out in the country side and away from the concrete and crowds. Damien is a super nice guy and provides well for his volunteers. I enjoyed my work and spending time with the other volunteers.
