  At our school, cultural exchange is at the heart of what we do. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to connect with our students, team, and local community through language, learning, and daily life.
  
  We often organize language exchange meetups, group conversations, or small activities where you can share your culture and learn about Moroccan traditions, food, and values.
  
  You’ll also get the chance to:
  Learn Darija (Moroccan Arabic)
  Discover local customs and way of life
  Share your own culture and teaching ideas with us
  
  We love learning from people around the world and hope that, through this experience, we can all grow together

• 

  Aide

  We are looking for fluent speakers of English or French with some teaching experience (formal or informal) to join our language community. This opportunity is open to women only, in line with our housing arrangements.
  
  Volunteers will:
  
  Teach their language to students in an interactive and engaging way
  Assist teachers during group classes
  Help organize language and cultural clubs, both at school and in the community (conversation clubs, movie nights, cultural events, excursions)
  Share their culture and support cultural exchange activities
  
  Volunteers are expected to work around 5 hours per day, 5 days a week (≈25 hours/week). Days off: Sunday + one day of their choice.

  We offer language exchange opportunities — volunteers can teach their native (or fluent) language while also learning Standard Arabic and Darija (Moroccan Arabic) from our teachers and students.

  Hébergement

  Workawayers will stay in a fully furnished flat located 10 minutes from the school. The flat includes:
  
  Two beds (shared or private, depending on the number of volunteers)
  Fully equipped kitchen with all cooking supplies and fridge
  bathroom with shower, toilet, and hot water
  Living area with furniture for relaxing and socializing
  Wi-Fi and laundry facilities (washing machine, drying rack)
  
  The flat is designed to be a comfortable home away from home, where volunteers can relax, cook meals, and enjoy their free time after helping at the school.

  During your free time, you’ll have plenty of options to explore! Taxis are cheap, easy to find, and very comfortable. for example, a taxi ride from Tetouan to Tangier takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. This makes visiting nearby cities and attractions simple and affordable.
  
  During their free time, volunteers can explore the city and surrounding areas, relax, or socialize with other Workawayers. Activities include:
  Visiting local markets, cultural sites, and historic neighborhoods
  Enjoying restaurants, cafes, and local cuisine
  Participating in cultural events and festivals throughout the year
  Exploring nearby attractions, parks, or natural sites
  I will personally help organize trips and show you the best places to visit, ensuring you experience the local culture fully
  
  We live a simple, respectful lifestyle and appreciate open-minded people who are kind, flexible, and curious about new cultures. While we don’t have strict house rules, we value good communication, responsibility, and mutual respect.
