  Description

  Hi Everyone, we are a multicultural family (Swedish/Belgian) who is located in the south of Brussels next to fields and the Forest of Soignes. We would love having people over to help us with our energetic dog who loves to go outside, cooking food, picking fruits in our orchard, taking care of the garden and maintenance of the house, and maybe some babysitting with our adorable 2 year old. We studied and have lived in several countries over the years. Meeting new people from all around the world is something that we really like and we would love to share this also with our daughter.

  Since we are located in Brussels, any types of restaurant, sports, art events, museums or connections to other cities in Belgium or Europe like Amsterdam, London or Paris are highly feasible even just for a weekend.
  
  We would be happy to hear and learn about any culture really. It could very interesting also to discover their experiences with nature, family and animals for example considering they would stay at ours and see how their experiences can also make us see our life in a different perspective or do things differently.
  
  We would love to have people from Italy to practice our Italian ! We love to cook Italian dishes so hopefully we could get tips from them if they like to cook to improve our skills.

  Aide

  We would like the workaway staying with us to feel like an extra member of the family. We have a lot of things going on at home and we are quite active people so we would love for this person to provide us with their help regarding daily things. It would be a mixture depending on what the workaday feels like doing. We have quite a big orchard and garden. Some extra hands could really benefit us. Our dog loves to go for walk and her breed asks for it and we feel that we don't have the possibility to give her what she needs. We would love someone who likes cooking and makes whatever dish they want. We love to discover new recipes. Some babysitting would also be welcomed. There is also some things around the house, we would really appreciate help with.
  
  In terms of what we can share with the workaway would be teaching piano as I am a piano teacher. I have a horse that is very friendly, loves to be taken care of and the workaway could even ride if they have the experience or if they don't, we could go on calm walks in the forest while I hold them. The centre of Brussels is just 15 to 20 min by direct train and we have a train station 3 min by walk. Multiple buses are also available. Very affordable language school is 10 min by foot and is highly known around for its very good quality and approachable teaching.

  We would love to practice our Italian and get to know people from different parts of Italy ! We lived there for two years and really enjoyed it.

  Hébergement

  A double bed in your own room downstairs with your own bathroom downstairs. All our bedrooms are on the second level so the lower level would be yours. Very big garden with orchard and a dog border collie. You can cook whenever you want as well. We will be happy to share any of our meals when the workaway feels like. This house has been very open from the start and we want to keep it that way: make people feel at home. The more our guests feel good, the best interactions and time we all get.

  We have a 2 year old daughter and for this reason, we would prefer someone who doesn't smoke.
