  Raphael and I are both 35 years-old and we have lived in Berlin for nearly 7 years. We are originally from Luxembourg and France (so we are French and German speaking, and English of course). We became a young family recently and welcomed our son Émile 9 months ago). We were attracted by Berlin for its dynamism, openness and progressive values and culture and deeply love this city (except in winter...). We both worked in start-up/ scale-up before and met at work, became good friends that shared the same hobby of triathlon, spent a lot of time training together (and going out for a good dancing session) until we started dating and the rest is history. :)
  
  We are now both on parental leave - we decided to take a year off to focus on our baby/ our family and do the travelling we had been dreaming of but had to postpone for multiple reasons (pandemic, work…). We finally left Europe in November to go to Thailand, then went to Cambodia, Vietnam (where we already had 2 Workawayers join us "successfully"), we are now in the Philippines (Mindoro now and Siargao from 18.3 until 8.4) and will head to Indonesia (Bali, from approx. 12.4 until 5.5) and Sri Lanka after (from approx. 11.5 until 15.6). And happy to have a Workawayer join for each of the legs. 🙂
  
  
  We are happy to tell you more about ourselves but I would describe us as very open, family people (that would love to live in a community), love sport and dancing, enjoy good food and love the apéro time before dinner, especially outside on a terrace.

  During our trip in Vietnam we plan on staying for at least 3 weeks at a beach to kitesurf. Raphael is happy to give kitesurf classes (he is a very good instructor), I also have a yoga teacher certification and would be happy to do regular yoga. We may travel to other cities in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh) so there will be plenty of places to visit and discover a new culture and of course enjoy the great Vietnamese food!
  
  We are also happy to practise your French or German and as previous managers in a start-up with quite some responsibilities and team management experience, we are also happy to help and coach people on their CV or career choices if they are business related.

  Aide

  We are looking for a Workawayer to join us on our trip in Vietnam in January and/ or later on to help us in taking care of Émile. Indeed, we love to take care of him and are proud to have taken this time off to focus on him but we would also like to work on other personal and professional projects (on top of getting a lie in in the morning on some days 🙂).
  
  So we would appreciate ~4 hours of help every day, mostly playing with Émile (or better let him play independently and just watch that he doesn’t hurt himself), give some food and change him (clothes/ diapers) and take one evening per week so we can have a date night, and one morning per week so we can have a lie in. (This is approximate, we would go with the flow of what the plan for the week is, and how we all feel of course, we are very very spontaneous people, who like to plan but are happy to adapt the plan as we go. 🙂
  
  We would be looking for someone who deeply cares for children and with whom we would share similar values and would understand and support the way we choose to raise our child (we are still figuring it out… but we would consider ourselves to be rather chilled parents that want Émile to explore the world as independently as possible).

  Hébergement

  During our trip we chose basic but comfortable and clean accommodation/ guesthouses, and we would get a similar room for our Workawayer. We would be happy to discuss the preferences of our Workawayer and find a fair arrangement in terms of accommodation, food and activity and so on.

  During our trip in Siargao and Bali we plan on spending time surfing and doing yoga (and maybe kitesurf) and in Sri Lanka we will probably focus on kitesurfing. :)
