  Hello! My name is Mar. I’m a retired high school teacher, and I’m now enjoying a life filled with creativity, nature, animals, and plenty of peaceful moments.
  
  I’m looking for enthusiastic and responsible volunteers to stay at my home in Pedreguer, near Dénia, in the Comunidad Valenciana. I spend my days painting, caring for my three wonderful dogs, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
  
  If you love art, animals, nature, and the ocean, this could be a lovely opportunity to share your time, learn new things, and experience life in a warm and welcoming home.
  
  🌊 About the Area
  
  My home is located in a beautiful area between the sea and the mountains with lots of opportunities for hiking, cycling, and outdoor activities.
  
  There are also many lovely coastal towns nearby, including Dénia and Jávea, with beautiful beaches, restaurants, markets, and plenty to explore.
  
  The area is quite lively during the summer, with lots happening around the region. Winter is quieter and more peaceful, but there are still activities and things to enjoy.
  
  🏡 About Your Stay
  
  You will have your own private bedroom with your own bathroom and Wi-Fi.
  
  There is a neighbour living next door and another neighbour in the house upstairs, but both are in separate, independent homes, so you will have your own space and privacy.
  
  🐶 Helping With My Dogs
  
  I have three lovely, sweet, and lively dogs,Iris, Abril and Mia and they are an important part of my daily life.
  
  One of the main things I will need help with is caring for them. This can include spending time with them, taking them for walks, and helping with their everyday needs.
  
  They are friendly, affectionate, and full of energy, so it’s important that you genuinely enjoy being around dogs.
  
  🎨 General Help Around the House
  
  There are always things to do around my home, including general household tasks and helping with different projects.
  
  There is no fixed daily schedule, so you can organise your time quite freely. The tasks can be different from day to day, and there is plenty of flexibility.
  
  I’m looking for someone who is independent, helpful, responsible, and happy to get involved when needed.
  
  🚲 Getting Around
  
  My house is about 1 km from the town, so it is important that you are comfortable getting around independently.
  
  You can rent a bicycle or motorbike if you would like to explore the area, so having a valid driver's licence is important, especially if you plan to rent a motorbike.
  
  I also have two bicyclesthat volunteers can use during their stay. The road into town is easy to cycle, and it’s a convenient way to get around.
  
  I also often go by car when I need to go somewhere, and you are welcome to come with me when possible.
  
  Walking into town is also easy. You simply follow the straight road and you will reach the town centre.

  Communication it’s really important for me, sometimes I won’t be in the house and you will be alone with the dogs and I need to know they are okay, so I need communication from your part about how things are going with them and the house.
  
  In your free time you can explore the areas of Denia, Javea, even Valencia city and Alicante city which are 1 hour away from bus or train
