  Description

  We live in a magical town called Frome in Somerset.
  
  At the moment we are looking for a helper from mid/end September for 2/3 months (but we are very happy for someone to stay longer.)
  
  We are a family of 4 - Mum, Dad, boy (10), girl (6) Both parents work and life is very busy for us with Daddy based in London during the weeks. We need another pair of hands for to help out with family life. We are a fun and kind family and our kids are super cute.

  We are a sweet and loving family who have so enjoyed our workaway exchanges over the last 6 years. We used to live in Ibiza and we had many visitors from all over the World. We cook together in the evenings and learned about each other's native cuisines and conversations have always been so interesting and informative. My kids love having Workstay helpers in the house and see them as friends. I work in wellbeing so workaway helpers always say they learn a lot about how to look after themselves better by staying with our family. We live on a park and our kids school is on that park so there is a parklike culture and we have a busy fun home with friends coming and going. We have a very strong community in Frome where our friends all live a close walk away.

  Aide

  We need an extra pair of hands to help with our children & home! This will mean helping in the mornings with light housework to clear up after breakfast and arrange the house for the day (particularly the kitchen.) Then after school playing with the children (they love art, going to the park which is behind our house, playing football in the garden, learning the piano and going to see their friends.) Sometimes the helper will be with the kids whilst I arrange dinner and other times they will arrange dinner whilst I am with the kids. I can be supportive with recipes etc. We like our helpers to eat with us so we can share stories. We then all clear up together after dinner. The person will be largely free between 10 & 4pm so it could work for someone who has a virtual job where they work during the days. I would also ask the helper to walk our little dog around the park sometimes.

  We live in a beautiful market town surrounded by stunning nature. It takes 10 minutes to walk into the centre of Frome town from our house where you have sweet coffee shops, a library, boutiques and a market. The river runs through Frome which makes it especially pretty. Frome has a sweet boho scene during the days and a fun nightlife. There is a spiritual community and lots of events happening in that space. You would have use of one of our cars. We live a 20 minute drive from Bath which is a wonderful city.

  You have your own room and bathroom on the top floor of our town house which backs onto a lovely park. You also have use of one of our cars and a bike if needed.
