  We are a family of 3 (Marina, Ronny and 4 year old Lume) experimenting with an alternative lifestyle at a very small traditional city in a countryside full of nature. We are also enthusiastic travellers and we love to discover new cultures through meeting people. We host friends all the time, in our starting farm. Here, we don't establish preset cohabitation rules, rather than believe in free interaction, based on mutual trust, lots of dialogue, taking care of the common rooms and respecting every person´s limits. In this way, we construct environments where love becomes inevitable. We are a child-centered family that holds play, affection and gentle parenting as core values.
  
  We need help keeping the house and our farm projects on a day to day basis. We have chores in yard keeping, house organising, general maintenance and children caring. We work with bioconstruction, permaculture, agroforestry / organic farm, small animals, holistic therapies, artsy hand-made projects, non violent comunication study groups, slow and functional food, and permaculture events.

  Somos uma família (Marina, Ronny e Lume, de 4 anos) experimentando um estilo de vida alternativo em uma cidade de interior pequena, tradicional e cheia de natureza. Também somos viajantes entusiasmados e amamos descobrir novas culturas conhecendo pessoas. Recebemos amigos o tempo todo em nosso novo Sítio. Aqui, não estabelecemos regras predefinidas de coabitação, mas acreditamos na livre interação, baseada na confiança mútua, muito diálogo, cuidado com os espaços comuns e respeito aos limites de cada pessoa. Dessa forma, construímos ambientes onde, inevitavelmente, o amor se manifesta. Somos uma família centrada na criança, que leva o brincar, o afeto e a parentalidade muito a sério :)
  
  Precisamos de ajuda para manter a casa e nossos projetos na fazenda no dia a dia. Temos tarefas de manutenção do quintal, organização da casa, manutenção geral e cuidados com a criança. Trabalhamos com bioconstrução, permacultura, agrofloresta/fazenda orgânica, pequenos animais, terapias holísticas, projetos artesanais artísticos, grupos de estudo de comunicação não violenta, alimentação lenta e funcional e eventos de hospedagem.

  São Luiz do Paraitinga is a touristic city known for 2 big and traditional festivities. The carnaval, a bohemian party with lots of local music, that normally takes place in february. And Festa do Divino, a family and religious party full of cultural manifestations of every part of Brazil, occuring during the months of May or June. São Luiz is also known for their adventure touristic events, like rafting, trail runs and montain biking races. Constant visits to waterfalls is guaranteed!
  Our homestead is very accessible to bus routes and is also a 1h car ride away from the famous shoreside city of Ubatuba, with its 107 beautiful paradisiacal beaches.

  Aide

  We have routine activities such as: watering plants, caring for the compoust maker, handling fruit trees, gardening, cooking, building and fixing furniture, harvesting wild clay, developing hand-made decorative objects and general maintenance and house keeping. We also develop therapeutical activities, both individual and in groups, that could need some production help.

  Hébergement

  We have a comunity bedroom for up to 3 people, or a family with small kids. We also have an extense yard area for camping. A comunity ecological bathroom (with hot water) and a shared kitchen. We are open to anyone who wants to cook vegan or non-vegetarian food (but using only local meat). We aways cook lunch together, and usually other meals too. We offer 3 meals a day (no charge).

  The access to São Luiz do Paraitinga - SP with public transportation is through BR 116, an intermunicipal bus route that connects São Paulo to Taubaté city and than São Luiz do Paraitinga city. Email us for more information.
