  Description

  After a while of hosting people through Workaway (here my host profile: )
  — and feeling deeply inspired by the many wonderful encounters, friendships, and stories that came my way — I decided to experience the other side of this exchange: to travel as a Workawayer myself.
  
  I’d like to spend now my winter holidays between December and January together with my daughter.
  We plan to travel for three weeks together to the warm southern coast and are looking for projects close to the sea. I want to offering my knowledge and hands to support meaningful projects, and weaving heartfelt connections along the way.
  
  In my professional life, I work as a psychologist and psychotherapist, accompanying people in their personal growth and healing processes. In my free time, I enjoy engaging in more tangible and creative activities — it helps me stay grounded and balanced.
  
  I’m especially delighted to contribute to community and retreat center projects, and to support personal or collective initiatives with my knowledge of geomancy — the art of attuning to the subtle energies of the Earth. Geomancy offers beautiful ways to harmonize a place or a home with the needs of both, the nature and the inhabitants, and to nurture the bond between the visible and the unseen, the tangible and the subtle worlds that surround us.
  
  I'm traveling together with my almost adult daughter. She is a gentle, thoughtful soul — somewhat introverted, with a deep love for animals, nature and personal growth. She also would be happy to lend a hand where care and patience are needed. Both of us value connections to and being with people who are living consciously, yet we also need a small private space of our own, as we appreciate moments of quiet and retreat.
  
  Alongside my professional and geomantic work I also work with systemic constellations, have a passion for spiritual art, also work with sacred geometry, different symbolic systems like runic wisdom and astrology, use ritual work and shamanic tools, as I'm initiated also in this tradition. I'm also able to teach in all these areas.
  
  I warmly welcome the diversity of a positive human expression and cherish a life lived in harmony and respect with the rhythms of nature. Furthermore, I cultivate relationships in an open-hearted, authentic “I-to-you” way. Likewise, I try to live as consciously as possible and am deeply interested in expanding awareness — both personally and by creating spaces of high vibrations that allow others to do the same.

  In my day-to-day life, I work as a freelance psychological psychotherapist and coach in my own practice. I also have a passion for spiritual art and crafts, and I'm studying astrology, working with sacred geometry, using runic knowledge, doing ritual work in general, herbal incense, creating energetic tools and much more. If you want to be here for a while and enjoy it, there might be some opportunities to get inspired in these areas, or if you're also on this path in your life, we could go into exchange.
  
  However, the core of what I do is shamanic and especially geomantic work and land healing. Geomancy is about feeling and balancing the energies of the earth and using them for different purposies, like removing old burdens in the landscape and creating healing spaces. You could also learn about how you can apply some from this knowlege when renovating and redesign your own house/space.
  
  I often work in the surrounding landscape on weekends (we don't have ouerselves a private garden here), depending on the weather and what I've got planned for the week. If you're interested in living in harmony with the earth and her spirits, I could share my own experiences and praxis in terms of that with you.
  
  What else is important to know for a decission on your side?
  
  I like to spend time with myself and enjoy listening to and savouring the quiet sounds of life. And I also enjoy mindful encounters from me to you on the level of the heart with authentic people who live in gratitude for life, work on expanding their consciousness and promote a healthy life for themselves and the earth.
  
  We are non-smokers and we don't drink alcohol. Since we offer shared meals, we would like to invite people who would feel comfortable with our diet.
  
  I don’t tolerate the use of cannabis and recreational drugs in our house. It would only be a good fit if it has the same value for your own life.

  Aide

  Update: Thanks to the wonderful help of people who came through Workaway, so much good has been achieved here. Now that the purpose of the house is changing, I am looking forward to support with the housework, reorganising and sorting, and, as before, help with a website. Help around the house is very welcome. I would appreciate if you like to help me with a big tidy-up, clear out the large attic and the hall below and dispose of the stuff there. Help with sorting office clutter is also part of this tidy-up. Especially if you are a spiritual person, like the natur, are interested to learn something/more about energetic work would be probably a good match.
  
  From time to time we are away for a few days and are looking forward to a trustworthy person who would like also to do the housekeeping and to feed our cat.
  
  Helping hours, as usual, 4-5 hrs per day 5x per week, depending on circumstances and who is here at the same time, can also be combined so you have more days off in the week. The whole Rhine-Moselle region and the volcanic Eifel are very picturesque, there is a lot to discover and it is worth having time for day trips.

  You will have your own room and share the rest of the house with us. We have two small rooms with one bed and one room with two single beds.
  
  Although our cat is very shy, she likes to meet new people and sometimes likes to spend the night with them if she is allowed to :). Don‘t worry, she is also very considerate and never has pushed herself on somebody. It's not certain how she will react to other animals. She usually runs away from dogs, but last year we had a very good experience with a calm dog she accepted. So we decided to be open for people coming with their pet. However, there is no guarantee that it will go well in every single case.
  
  We are vegetarians /pescetarians and you are welcome to have organic vegetarian meals with us. I'm happy if someone wants to cook and show me new recepies. Even if I'm still at work, there's always enough for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  
  A special feature at our place: Internet access:
  We use LAN for the Internet connection, mostly also for the mobile phones and hardly use WLAN and WiFi. We are quite sensitive to low and high frequencies and I try to reduce these frequencies in the house as much as possible. My offer would not be suitable for you if you mainly want to be connected to the internet. We also favour people who want to use their time with us to rest from the flood of data or avoid it themselves rather than support it.
  
  However, if you want to work from here and your work requires an internet connection, you of course can have internet from us - in this case please via LAN - which we will provide.

  Autres infos...

  We are in a small, (mostly) very quiet and very old village with about 900 inhabitants. It has been nominated several times as the most beautiful village in Rheinland-Pfalz. There are no shops, but two cafés and two restaurants. The house is located directly on the Jacobsweg, the Camino, one of its paths runs past the door. In 2-3 minutes you are on one of the picturesque hiking trails, the so-called "dream trails", which are also well-known throughout the region. The Volcanic Eifel is a classic hiking region with beautiful, magical scenery. All around is woodland. The small village river is about 30 metres away from us. There are two castle ruins with special energies that invite to spend wonderful evenings at especially in the warm season. If you want to enjoy peace and nature, to turn the focus within you or concentrate on specific inner work you've probably come to a good place for that.
  
  However, you are also well connected here. The nearby town, Mayen, is only 5 kilometres away and there are train connections every hour. The next city, Koblenz, is about 30 minutes away by car or train. Bonn is 70 km and approx. 1 hour away and Cologne 90 km far away. It is said that this area along the Rhine and Moselle is the region with the most castles in Germany.

  Our cat is very shy and afraid of dogs, but we just had a great experience with a visiting dog and can now imagine that a well-socialized and rather calm dog would do quite well. We haven't tried it with cats yet. We ourselves like animals/pets very much.
