Description
Hello! We are Ina and Jhon and run together an alternative school at our Finca in the lovely mountains at 40 minutes south of Cali. We are actualy 4 families living in our small comunity, together with our dogs and chicken, and in our larger education tribe we are 15 families, with children between 2 and 10 years old who come from monday till friday to the Forest School. We offer a conscient education in nature, respectful for the personal proces of each child, learning in an active and magic way through experience and meaningful projects. It´s a transformative experience for the kids, their parents as well for the guides in the educational process! The environment is very beautiful, our finca has an área of 7000 m, with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a lot of forest and access to the Jordan river.

We are looking for an accompanying person in our school:
Are you passionate about a conscious, comprehensive, active and innovative education?
Do you have a deep love for nature and natural education?
Do you have a special connection with the children? Do you have the tools for pedagogical accompaniment with preschool-primary children and do you have a great intuition for comprehensive and respectful accompaniment (emotional, social, spiritual)?
Are you supercreative, enthusiastic, organized, artistic and willing to train in our school pedagogy and Rainbow Education?
Do you understand that a meaningful education involves a process of growing a whole tribe and starts with your own personal growth?
Do you want to compromise for a long term volunteer experience (preferibly at least 6 months, to be able to learn about our pedagogy and be part actively in our education process?

Hébergement
We offer a cute cabin of two floors, build in natural materials with proper bathroom, equiped kitchen, a cosy living room, bedroom and balcony with view over the mountains.

There is a local transport to the village of Jamundí, and as well with our school bus we go every day up and down to the village of jamundí to pick up the children. We are at 20 minutes walking uphill from the mountain village La Estrella, here you can find small shops and a wider variety of ecoturism options.
It is important for us to have a healthy life style (no smoking or drugs) as we have the precious task to acompany the pure beings of the children and we want to be an example and inspiration for them!
