  Description

  Help with animals on a family farm and building a retreat center in Baixo Alentejo, Portugal. We moved from Germany to Portugal in January 2023 to grant our animals a life in freedom and to build a retreat for people who want to take a break from their stressful everyday to regain strength through a healthy connection with animals and nature. On our farm there are living various beings as cows, horses, goats, sheeps, pigs, dogs,cats and chicken.

  If you can do work independently and also see where there is work to do, as well as being in a team sometimes and have a big heart for animals, perhaps it's the right place for you🌿🤠
  
  What you can help with:
  
  - taking care of 15 ( mostly rescued) horses, stablework such as mucking out and feeding,
  +helping to train them ( putting on halters, learning to give hooves etc.,
  +going for walks
  
  - taking care of cows, feeding, cuddling
  
  
  -gardening, planting vegetables, fruits
  -planting new trees
  
  -building and repairing fences
  -creating nice things ( own ideas very welcome) for garden, wooden cabins, tourist area ( for example, building little fountains with natural stones, making little pathes in gardens and between cabins.
  
  - and much more😊
  
  What we expect from you:
  
  🐎 🐎If you like to work with our horses, some basic knowledge is very much appreciated!☺️
  
  
  Otherwise, you don't need to have special qualifications for your stay, but we expect you to be completely tolerant of other people, their views and opinions. Because our farm is a place of harmony and recreation🥰

  We offer Family caravan or two- bed caravan
  - You are welcome to come with your own campervan or tents, beautiful spaces for camping on the land available ☺️
  - Sanitary facilities ( toilets and shower cabins)
  - Food depending on agreement and working hours
