  Description

  Come & stay/play/work/create at our beautiful home/spiritual Retreat center in the Canadian Rockies. At this time we only need one volunteer at a time. We are on the Blaeberry River, 17 km NW of Golden, BC. We are learning/becoming more and more self sustaining. We have solar hot water heaters and some solar panels. We have 2 cats, chickens, ducks, a nice size garden, compost piles, fruit trees, berry garden, and a greenhouse. Gardening, landscaping, building, painting, & other creative projects are ongoing. We respectfully request non smokers, no children, and no dogs/other pets. We are looking for energetic people with a good knowledge of English. Volunteers stay in a staff trailer or house. There is opportunity to take part in River Rafting, Fire walks, Sweat lodges etc. when these events take place.

  If you have some creative talents you would like to add to our place we would love that. We are always looking to add to the beauty of the land. We could use a strong arm to stock up all the fire wood for next winter!

  We live in a beautiful place! Nestled between the Purcell and Rocky Mountains of Canada we are surrounded by 4 National Parks. . There is one bus service between Calgary and Vancouver that stops in Golden, BC 1x / day. We have bikes that you can borrow to get around. Nearby is a Wolf Wildlife centre, Trail Rides on Horse Back, and a few hikes. We are 15 minutes out of Golden and have to head that way 2 or 3 times / week for supplies.
