  Description

  We are a retired couple living on 3 acres at Whangapoua on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula in the North Island of New Zealand.
  Whangapoua Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach with famous New Chums beach next door. If you like beaches ,Coromandel Peninsula is a great place to visit. There are plenty of areas to explore and walks to do. You would need your own transport.
  We require assistance maintaining our property. 3 or 4 hours a day, but we are flexible. Primarily gardening and would suit a single person, two friends or a couple. If you are a home handy man that would be a bonus. In exchange we would provide food and accommodation ( your bedroom is in our family home and you would only need to share your bathroom if/when we had visitors)

  We enjoy meeting and interacting with people from all over the world. You would be welcomed into our home .and we are very happy for you to interact with our friends, family and guests.
  If English is your 2nd language we can help you progress in this area with conversational and written English assistance.
  You will get to know us as Kiwis and emerse yourself in the laid back Kiwi lifestyle.
  It would be fun to taste some of your traditional foods as well as introduce you to ours.
  We can give you guidance in the garden if you would like to pick up a few skills using equipment and gain knowledge

  We are looking for light help in the garden eg: weeding, mowing, weed eating etc. we are happy to leave you alone to complete your task but hope you don't mind if at times we join you to help out.
  There may also be other odd jobs that we might do together

  You will have a bedroom in our family home and your own bathroom. You would only need to share the bathroom if we had friends/ family or guests staying.
  We would provide food for breakfast and dinner meals. You are welcome to eat what ever we cook. You are also welcome to share the cooking duties

  We ask that you respect our home and property. We are looking for a non smoker. No drug use or excessive use of alcohol will be tolerated.
  Coromandel Peninsula offers great areas to explore including beautiful beaches and walking tracks. The Pinnacles, Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are very popular areas with visitors to the region .
