You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horse care, natural horsemanship, equine nutrition, and equine first aid while helping with our daily routine. I am a professional natural horsemanship trainer, an equine nutritionist, and I specialize in barefoot hoof trimming. We have all the equipment needed to work safely with horses and share our knowledge and experience.
We also have two new members of our family: a three-year-old colt who has just started his natural horsemanship training, and his four-month-old son. They are both incredibly friendly, curious, and absolutely adorable. Watching them grow and learn together is a wonderful experience.
We're also very close to the historic city of Ávila, where Saint Teresa was born. The city has preserved much of its medieval heritage, including its spectacular medieval walls, which stretch for 2,515 metres and stand up to 12 metres high. Just a 30-minute drive away is the beautiful city of Segovia, famous for its impressive Roman aqueduct.
After work, we often enjoy walking through the old town of Ávila or visiting the many historic villages and beautiful places nearby.
As I run my own business from home, I have a very flexible schedule, so we can easily adapt our plans and activities together. -

**Summer is here, and there's always plenty to do!**
During these months, we spend much of our time working in the vegetable garden, building small projects, and continuing to improve the areas where our rescued animals live.
Over the years, we have rescued many animals, especially horses. It is incredibly rewarding work, but it is also physically demanding. As we get older, heavy tasks and unexpected situations involving large animals become more challenging. That's why we're looking for help to make improvements that will make our work safer and more sustainable, allowing us to continue rescuing and caring for animals for many years to come.
We're looking for people who already have some practical experience with gardening, vegetable growing, general maintenance, carpentry, basic construction, or using tools. You don't need to be a professional, but you should be confident with practical work, able to use your initiative, and comfortable working independently.
If you're the kind of person who likes to try random "life hacks" or techniques you saw on TikTok, this probably isn't the right place. We value common sense, quality workmanship, and respect for animals, tools, and the environment.
If you're happy to work, contribute with your skills, and be part of an animal rescue project, we'd love to welcome you. -
