  Description

  A rural peaceful community. My husband, Gordon and I are located on the tidal Black River which runs into the Atlantic Ocean. We are learning ways of sustainable living, maybe we could be mutual teachers. We live on 6 acres of treed land, one acre of gardens. A 2 bedroom comfortable house overlooking the river, watching the eagles soar. We facilitate drum circles using mainly djembes and engage in music jams in our music studio. Boating when tide and weather permit.
  We love to give in community. Consciousness and fun, our ticket to personal freedom

  Gordon is a retired builder and has many skills. You can learn basic building skills with use of various tools. Carrol’s skills include permaculture gardening, cooking, preservation of food and creating natural health remedies, you can learn from all of these and more if you desire.
  You have opportunity to learn and engage in various musical instruments, music jamming and methods to evolve such as meditation.
  Enjoy a peaceful environment on the river and in the household. We have a couple of canoes that we can enjoy together.
  We encourage a family setting where we eat together, laugh together and converse openly in kindness.

  Aide

  We are seeking help in gardens, to harvest, process food and maintain healthy garden beds, prepping beds for next season. Help in building projects, acquiring firewood from our forest. Assisting with household maintenance and cleaning.

  Sleeping in a loft above the music studio. We will discuss this further as we will want to use the studio without disrupting our guest. We also have a spare bedroom in the house. Depending on availability, sometimes we have visitors.
  We want our guests to feel at home and to share our space. Shared bathroom.
  Prepare your own breakfast. Lunch and supper prepared so we can eat together. Maybe assisting with meal preparation
  Snacks whenever you want
